    Ch341A software/driver - Your setup

    Hello guys,
I've recently got me a new laptop to use for work and it's great and all but I don't know if I'm having bad luck or what but recently I'm facing more issues than before, while attempting to fix some tvs, with my trusty (and dirty cheap) ch341a (black pcb) and IC/firmwares.

    I'll write my questions first:
    1) Which program and version are you using to program the ICs?
    2) Which driver
    3) Which OS/version are you on?

I need to set a base of which I can be fairly sure about. I mean, if I put an IC in the programmer and it says that it can't identify/erase/program/whatever it I can be sure it's the chip's fault.

    My setup now:
    1) Program is CH341A ver 1.34 (I'm trying AsProgrammer 1.4.0 too)
    2) driver version 2.2.2009 6
    3) Windows 10 1909

I've read somewhere that for Win10 is better to use the version 1.29 of the program, I've tried to use the newest driver from here but looks like windows doesn't want to use this 2019 version and sticks with the 2009 version.

    Thoughts, comments, suggestions?

I've programmed a 25q32 to test it and it worked, I'll have to wait for a real world test tho.

        LED DRIVER KEEPS DYING
        by osrex
Hello, this is my first post and im just a beginner, so be easy on me guy. thanks

i have a LED chandeilier that switches colors from white to cool white to warm when toggling the switch, it has 24 LED arms, each arm is 30 CM length.

i have no datasheet at all for the LED lights, all i have is its length.

long story short, testing the chandelier on the ground, and it works fine for 1 - 2 - 6 hours, no problem.

as soon as i fix the chandelier to the ceiling and bury the driver inside the hub,...

I believe Chip 2 is BIN is the main one as it contained the Windows product key, marked with XXXXX for now.

PROBLEM: Turns on blank screen, charging circuitry motherboard looks good. I have tried another firmware here - but resulted in 5V will not go to 20v due to different PD firmware I believe - using the current firmware it does go to 20V.

Requesting a firmware clean/BIOS region cleaned. Here is output from ME Analyzer:

[Question] Ch341a and 5v to 3.3v with logic converter
        by md500
zz0.8tpitu4y0i8zzI bought a ch341a (I'm waiting for it to arrive) and I noticed that the programmer has a bug that the data pins go to 5v when the VCC pin is at 3.3v (which is the voltage I'm looking for).

Instead of doing the 3.3v mod, I'm thinking of converting the 5v to 3.3v with an 8 channel TXS0108E through the ZIF socket but I don't know if that would work, because it has to circulate voltage and also information.

What I am looking for is something that will convert from 5v to 3.3v but without modifying the ch341a.

        I can't buy the ch341a 1.6v that has...
