Stb is < 1 v when the connector is not plugged in. I believe the voltage is driven from main board on Stb. Post #20 is with everything connected. I just noted the large cap voltage when connected or not connected

I look at your post #20:
I took the measurements on CN2. The issue i see is the larger cap has 385V all the time, even when cable CN402 Is not connected... PFC circuit or what is suggested?
    STB is 3.4V,
13.2v are 13.15 (when backlight is on), 12.6v when it doesn't turn on
    FAIL is 0.057
    80v are 77.8V

But now you are saying that the STB is <1V when not connected.

So if you have all the board connected, does STB pin of the power supply change state and TV is toggle on and OFF?

No, just the power supply board connected to AC.. no other cables connected to the power board

Is that reading with all boards hooked up?

The PFC boosted Voltage will be present when PS-ON is present, so check and see if the PS-ON is >2V when running the power supply board by itself, if it dies then it may have pull-up resistor for self test function on the PS-ON pin.

Confirmed.. 385v is present with nothing but AC cable connected. The PFC is the TEA1716T from NXP

with tv unplugged from outlet, unhook all connectors from powerboard, plug power cord back into outlet, see if you still have 385 with powerboard by itself.

Would that cause the PFC circuit to stay on?

That symptom described in first post seems like a faulty cap or a iffy solder joint, maybe try hitting your boards with a hairdryer when it's acting up, see if it changes any, heat any caps that could be the culprit, could be you have one that's just a little weak.

Thanks.. ALL LED strips have been replaced with a brand new set - not used set. I used the upgraded set with adhesive tape - Identical to ShopJimmy

That red note is interesting. $98 USD plus shipping and tax and the significant amount of labour to replace all the strips with upgraded ones means that lowering the current and replacing one or two strips is the only cost effective route for our purposes.

What I'm saying in your context is that the next LED strip may be on its way out. Will follow this thread!
I think this is a good idea too.

Sharp 80” long short flash backlight error - Help
    by Superbee_dad
    Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

[Help] Lenovo Yoga Slim 7-14ARE05 (DA0LS3MBAF0) – 25Q80DVN1G Flash Is All FF, USB-C PD Stuck at 5V
    by ekozeko333
    Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7-14ARE05 with board DA0LS3MBAF0 Rev:F. I’ve run into an unusual issue where USB-C PD is stuck at 4.7–5V and the system won’t boot (keyboard lights flash briefly, then nothing).
🔥 The Problem Started After Suspected ESD/PD Fault
I experienced a power issue or ESD event through a USB-C charger
After that, the NX20P5090 power switch was visibly burned and was replaced
Now the PD controller always negotiates 5V @ 2A, even with known-good chargers

Nikon D800 camera - flash don’t work and capacitor don’t charge
    by corrize
    Hello, I'm stuck in troubleshooting…
The flash system works like that : when the (mechanic) flash button is pressed, the flash mecanically pop up, and a circuit buck boost elevate 7v (batt) to 200-300v (?) for charging the big capacitor. And when the photo shoot button is pressed, the capacitor is discharged in the xeon light.

In the D800, there is a first « power board » close to the battery. 2 wires (batt 7v) goes to another little « flash board ». I measured 7v, so ok.
When I press the flash button, it's detected by the system, flash icon appear on LDC display....
