    Hitachi 32HXC01U - No Text in Menus

    I obtained this TV with a backlight problem which I've fixed, only to find out that although the TV works fine, all menus are blank with no text.
    The background for the menu comes up with blank text boxes, and you can navigate these boxes with the remote, and I even managed to tune the TV in so the menu's do work, it's just that there's no text in them.

    Is there a way to factory reset the TV? I've tried menu 4725 but the TV just restarts when I do this. Any help greatly appreciated!

              Hi all im undertaking a repair of and old Hitachi tv model number C1421T-TEXT which has customer sentimental value .. the LOPTX has failed the type number on the label is DE50H0000152 which i believe is also HR7880 direct replacement . I have searched on google to no joy if anyone has any information to a remote possibility preferably within the uk to obtaining either the original or HR equivalent i would very much appreciate any help Many thanks guys Leo...

              The TV initially had a steady (not flashing) red standby light but did not turn on when power button was pressed. I tried all the usual “fixes” but nothing worked. TV would not turn on. After researching the issue, I concluded the cause was a bad EEPROM chip. I ordered the appropriate chip from ShopJimmy:

              The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
              I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
              The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
              The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.

              i have the above tv and the display starts distorts the display at only in applications like you tube
              after and on the didital channels
              now without connect the antenna only the image of itsselfs tv i have the image i have in attach
              i have read in another forum someone else with similar problem with mine changes tcon card and motherboard and the problem remains
              can you tell me someone what is the reason that can causes that problem ? is the same the sisplay ?...
