    Vertical Lines on TV, nothing else displays, T Con replacement didn't work

    I shelled out for this LED LG 65uj6300 and immediately after its 2 year warranty expired the whole thing crapped out. Now it only shows these vertical lines. We've already tried replacing the T Con board and securing the wires, and it didn't work. Anybody have any ideas?

      doesn't look good :-( you didn't happen to have someone "window washing" by any chance.

          Panel is probably bad. Driver IC or bonding failure...

              Inspect the driver/tab bonding board for obvious damage, can test the caps for shorts, here's another possibility: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlCHVoSpX_8

                  Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
                  Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

                  I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
                  I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

                  I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

                  A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

                  First. it has no picture at all. i solved it by covering the ckv lines using tape to to block the connections

                  Second. now has picture but with vertical lines that follow the image. tcon board ic overheating

                  tried blocking LC lines too, but same results



                  is it lcd panel issue or tcon board issue?...

                  Hello,

                  i order a t-con because i had bad colors on my SONY KDL-40V3000 :




                  With the new t-con the color are good but there are vertical lines on all the screen :




                  I've tried the old t-con and it returned to the initial issue (bad colors but no vertical lines)

                  Is there a way to fix the vertical lines on the new t-con ?

                  Hello everyone,

                  I was trying to fix the monitor, which was giving me the following pictures:

                  It was somehow reactive, such that if I pressed the buttons, the lines changed in positions or if i moved e.g. a task window, it would somehow change the patter, too.

                  I swapped out the mainboard without any luck. So I thought that it has to be an issue with the panel itself and was trying to assess whats wrong on the control board of the panel.

                  Somehow, I managed to short the LVDS protection with a MOSFETS cooler on the PCB.

                  I turned around...

                  I recently replaced the led backlights with LB65041 LED Backlight Strips and after putting it back together the backlights work but there are only colored vertical lines only in the center of the tv. I can see the Netflix logo (jumbled) after a minute or less the screen went dark. When I turned it on again the lines were back. Then I replaced the t-con board but the same vertical lines in the picture. My question is what is my next step? Could it be a source tab bond issue? A buffer board issue? Could I have loosened a connection to the panel when replacing the backlights? Should I replace the...
