LG 50PK350 Stuck in Standby not clicking

Unusual because whilst it is stuck in standby not the usual clicking you normally have with this model. Red standby illumination with no response from remote or manual controls. if power turned off after around 7 seconds 1 single relay click. Power board is EAY60968801 which I believe is almost identical to the PSU used in LG 50PJ350 ( EAY60968701). The only difference is the EAY60968801 has the extra connector for the Xsus board whereas EAY60968701 hasnt because powered from Ysus in 50PJ350.
With the 50PJ350 testing power supply is relatively easy because SMPS turns on automatically when main board disconnected.
Can anybody confirm that this is also the case with the 50PK350?
Have tested all components which are known to fail with this power supply ( EAY60968801) and no problems found. Any advise appreciated

Check the back of the power supply for cold solder, quite common on this one.

If you have stby voltage going to the main board, you should see the RL_ON pin change when you press the power button, I don't believe this power supply has pullup resistors for the RL_ON so you would need to use 1k from stby to rl_on to turn it on. It may also require a 1k from stby to M_ON, You may also need a wire between ground and AUTO_GND

Managed to repair it. It was a faulty Controller chip IC701. Desoldered chip from a scrap board to replace chip. When tested worked straight away.
I can confirm that with mainboard connector disconnected from PSU (EAY60968801) all voltages present.
Worth noting for the future if ever a stuck in standby situation with this model and no clicking and with main board disconnected only 5volt active from psu.
Controller chip IC 701 should be suspected.

            Symptoms:

The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

            Progress:

After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I...

Samsung PN64H5000 clicking when powered, then stuck in standby
            by meeotch
My PN64H5000 shut itself off/on/off a few times in succession last night, then refused to turn on again. When I first plug it in, I get five clicks coming from the power board, and the red standby light on the front goes on and off, as does the little green LED on the logic board. After that, the red standby light comes on after a couple of seconds and stays lit, but the TV will not power on. Confirmed by leaving it unplugged overnight.

I opened it up, and didn't see any bulging caps, burnt PCBs, or anything else obvious. Tested the two fuses I saw on the power board (one removable,...

Before this problem , the TV stuck the picture with artefact , i unplug the AC cable and since the tv is stuck in standby .

All voltage are OK on PSU and main board for regulator. I tried flash firmware 25Q64 with many dumps

But the voltage on power button is 0.6V not 3.3V. When i press power button the voltage up to 0V. I tried to add 5V with Power Supply on 5V_STB and 3.3V on Power...

LG 32LB1R - stuck in standby mode
            by lego1234567
Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.

What could be the problem ? Thanks...
