Seeing as this model is edge-lit it would seem one or more of the LED's have shorted.

It's not the LVDS cable you want, it's the flat ribbon cables that go from the Tcon to the panel boards.
Swap left for right.

That's a COF tab.
Can be easily damaged disassembling/reassembling or taking the panel out.
Take the bezel off & press the tabs while it is on & see if you can make it go away.
Can use packers or tape on the tab for a temporary fix.Leave a comment:

It's a Direct LED array.
Have you tried disconnecting the Mainboard from the Power Supply to see if the backlights will come on?
