Maybe try hitting the eeprom with freeze spray or upside down duster spray, then turn tv on see if anything changes, could also try heating mainboard with hairdryer see if anything changes.

When you tested powerboard, you checked bl-on with tv plugged in but off which is standby, then hit power, if both conditions resulted in 0 volts then you are not getting the bl-on signal from mainboard, think I would throw a mainboard at it.

Maybe call ElectroParts 310-971-9249, see if they have any or can tell you which mainboards will work or maybe interchange with your mainboard, being a 32 inch. you probably don't want to throw too much money at it with new ones not costing too much.

So when i arrived from day job i restarted my journey...
Checked TCON voltage(12,5V) and also recheck TCON fuse and is ok.

While doing all the troubleshoot you sugested i came to a point of reconnecting everything before putting the ice spray... I connect power and after one restart the TV stayed on and i was able to put it in stand by with the remote. And so it is until this moment without the crazy restart.

My thoughts at the moment are mainly pointing to mainboard.

I left the TV in standby mode in order to wait for your comment.

My idea at the moment is to change Nand Memory. For me it looks that the mainboard is having a hard time to access memory. Is there a way to diagnose issues with it? Does it make any sense what I'm thinking?

I'm not a pro by no means but trying a replacement eeprom if you can find one, is probably the same that I would do, usually cheaper than buying a whole mainboard.

Maybe you can update/reapply the firmware if tv is working now.

I had a kdl 46, it acted a lot like yours, the backlights wouldn't come on til I unplugged mainboard from powerboard, finally found firmware and fixed it thanks to some REALLY GREAT people here, tv had a surge from a storm, the firmware was all that was needed.

Hello

Changing Nand Memory didn't have the desired result.

I read the installed one to a file and copy it to a new chip.
The behavior is almost the same with the diference that i could start the tv more often although the restart problem stills there.

I tried also the suggestion of the air dryer and now what i see is when i locate the air dryer above the chips signaled on the attached picture the tv allways start.
I now can see some programs in the tv although some times it freezes and then restarts... A little more of the air drier and the tv restarts working...

Any sugestion? Chip replacement? Dead Mainboard?

Sounds like it needs BGA reballing.

Yep, probably need a mainboard, here's an interesting video, he's doing a diy bga reflow, usually only a temporary fix tho. Some use heat guns, some bake the whole board in the oven, he says this method keeps it from overheating the bga. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDQNOU2w_ek

It's a nice repurpose for these halogen lamps, since when used as actual lamps can cause fires in some cases.
