    SAMSUNG LE40S73BDX Distorted screen - VIDEO AVAILABLE

    Could i please get some help troubleshooting this on?
    Video and pictures below. Sometimes screen is good and clear but mostly totally distorted.

      This may be a problem with poor solder connections of the large square QFP IC on your mainboard. You will need to use lots of flux, and re-touch each pin of this IC on the mainboard with a very fine tip solder iron.

      Reflowing with a hot-air rework station may work, but re-using the existing crappy lead-free solder may not be as successful as retouching each pin with fresh solder.

      Before attempting repair, you may try applying heat from hot air dryer over the mainboard before turning the TV on to see if any of the lines change or go away completely.

          Hello everyone, I’ve just been given a Samsung UE55JU6800K smart tv as it had white spots on the screen due to the led lenses falling off. After refitting them & putting the tv back together I thought it was a nice easy fix for a free bedroom tv , then I tried it before screwing the back into place. I realised that the right side of the screen was darker than the other side, I removed the screen again as I thought the backlights had failed but they are fine.

          Hello everybody!

          To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

          The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer...

          I've got a Samsung LH82QENELGC/EN with a problem and need some advice and I hope this is the forum to use?

          Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

          My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

          This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

          Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?

          Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ?
