I cannot tell from the your board as what form factor you have, they do not look like leads to me. Put soldering tip to them.
I've looked at them as closely as I can. That and touching them with the solder iron as far as I can see they are very, very small pins sticking out of it.

I re-installed LD1 and IC2 today, and for the first time felt like I did a good job getting such small components rightly soldered! The little victories!

After I went looking for IC1....and struck out completely. I tried for the longest time to find a datasheet or a place to buy one with no luck.

I see this QFN style is available, but I have no idea what the proper name is for the package or type needed here. Can anyone help me with this? I plan to order a lot of parts Monday first thing and I'm hoping this is part of it, along with parts for a 55" Sony and a whole bunch of others waiting.

Thank you again everyone for your help, and a special mention to budm. I know you made a sacrifice and paid a price to obtain the knowledge to do what you do so proficiently. To be willing to patiently share from this fountain of knowledge with all of us is an inspiration, especially when appreciation for these efforts can sometimes seem fleeting. Well just you know that I appreciate it, and hope someday to return to you and others as you so generously and graciously give to all of us. Thank you.

Could you solve the problem? I have this same problem on exactly this same TV model.

SONY KD-43X8305C - Not booting after software update
        by Russ17
        Hi,

        I have been given a SONY KD-43X8305C Android based 43" 4K TV.

It received a software update which failed and then failed to boot after.

I have tried holding Power and Volume down (-) then applying AC power, multiple times, with no success.

The backlight is off, the main status LED is Off, the Mainboard heat sink gets slightly warm if left on for more than 30 minutes, showing it is getting power.
PSU has normal outputs. Screen appears blank even with a torch test and no start up sound from Android is heard when powered on.

Sony Bravia KDL-70W850B T-CON board / software update issue
        by eclectric
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue before I give up on this TV.

In short, I replaced the T-CON board due to an error code indicating that was the problem, after which it flashed a green and orange LED meaning software update required. I cannot get the tv to do the required update via USB, so I am stuck.

Here is a rundown of the symptoms and the steps I have taken to troubleshoot:

I inherited the TV with the symptom that it would turn on, then turn off after 5-10 seconds and a red LED flashed 4 or 5 times. Sometimes it would be 4, sometimes...

Sony KD-43XE8005 with sound, backlight, no picture
        by ronni
I have a Sony KD-43XE8005 with no picture on the TV when powered on. Audio and backlight work ok when powering on. Solid white indication light showing on front of tv bezel.

When removing the left hand ribbon cable from the T-con board, a white image is displayed on that half of the screen and a black screen is shown on the right. If I gently rub the ribbon cable on the right an image or purple black bars appear. The cable doesnt appear damaged, and if swapped with the other ribbon cable the same flickering symptoms can be seen.

Removing the LVDS cable results in...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
        by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

        Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

        First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...
