royal mail is getting a joke i posted them atleast half a hour before last collection so should of got them today really, and too bloody cold too be working on cars (im a ex mot tester myself) unless your in a nice heated garage of course.Comment

work in a plastic marquee ..have a small burner and gas space heater .. its ok when the winds not blowing in . have to fix tv.s in there too as electronic workshop is a small wooden shed .Comment

my first class parcel also turned up today too not sure whats happened to first class next day deliveries , main thing is you can fully test the tv now and hopefully re sell it on.Comment

its still working on hdmi .will leave on for another hour and call it ok . tv is already sold .they say it stopped working after first night of use . i let them borrow a spare tv whilst i looked at this one .Comment

tv is back with buyer ,,i hope it lasts this time .. if it fails again all i can check if heat related as it is cold where it was tested plus rear cover removed in case it failed or xbox is a problemComment

6 weeks on and it has gone bad again switching off just after picture comes on .led still works .
i just told her to unplug it from the wall for a day and try again as that seemed to work last time .well apart from transporting it here .Comment

What's the main board and power board from this also model number of Acoustics Solution TV?
As I have had similar issues with an old 42" sub branded Vestel unit with a 17pw16-2 which turned out to be Molex connectors from power board to main board were slightly high resistance causing voltage drop! There was enough voltage drop for remote not to work but side buttons would work when bringing it out from standby! Also check the capacitor c835 is not high esr which can also cause issues with standby!Last edited by cheeky2; 02-13-2019, 04:09 AM.Comment

Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power... -

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. picked up a tv and when the power is plugged, the standby light flashes real quick then goes off. of 3.3, 12, 24v is all there but i couldnt find any 5v on the back-end board. ON/OFF is low, which it seems is what turns on the backlight so i removed the wire at the back-end board and put a 10k resistor to the 3.3v, which when plugged in brings on the backlight for a split second and also a blue light "LED1" on the inverter board, which goes off after a short time.
am i missing something to bring on the backlight or is the inverter/ccfl gone bad? would that cause the inverter board...12-01-2023, 09:55 PM -
Hey Everyone,
So I've got this Samsung and the reported issue is that when powered on the backlight comes on, but no picture, no sound, it will flicker, the standby light will flash red twice and repeat the whole process...each loop lasts about 15 seconds.
I've googled the issue and understand it is likely a panel/driver board issue, but was hoping the "tape method" could be successful. Before I did that though, I disconnected the left LVDS cable and powered the TV on. This time I got sound, no picture and the two blink standby light stopped. Did the same...03-27-2023, 07:01 PM -

i have here Samsung UE55AU8072U no standby light.
Panel model : CY-SA055HGXY1V
Motheboard model : bn41-02844A bn94-16868V
When i press the power button,standby light turn on,after i release it immediately turns off.
Unplugged main board from power supply - BACKLIGHTS COME ON.
I think the motheboard is problem.
I fixed two TV with same mistake,but they were 6000-series,there was a problem with the contents of the w25q40 chip.
Here are all dumps : ic801(24c512),ic1603 and ic1604(25q40)....
