    RCA RLDED5078A backlight ?

I have one of these TVs here I picked up tonight, upon reading and testing stuff it looks like it is bad backlights, ? I have is I have another rca TV here RLDED4633A, what's are the chances of the backlight strips being the same in both TV's, I haven't gotten into much backlight repairs before but I have a couple TVs here that need backlight repairs, any tips

If LCD panel is not the same model then it will not likely to use the same LED strips, look up the spec of the LCD panel number to get more info.
What kind of test have you done to determine if you have backlights problem or not?
BTW, providing good clear pictures of what we are dealing with also help.

There was a couple forums already started on here with same model number of TV, I checked voltages as they did and got same results, both threads ended with bad strips and worked once they were replaced, the RLDED4633 I can't find any replacement parts to reference off of shopjimmy but I can for the RLDED5078, only list 50' RCA's with having same strips, so I assume there not compatible, I usually just buy replacement strips but how much work is there to getting a proper rework station for replacing single LEDs in strips instead of replacing whole strip

The RLDED5078A has a few suffix versions and RLDED5078A-D has at least two different backlight configurations. I initially replaced the LEDs with transplanted used LEDs from another RCA tv but think it is better to use new LEDs. The LG 3V 3528 ones will work (search Aliexpress) but need to be offset by about a mm. Shopjimmy sells a hotplate for replacement or you can use a hot air station though it tends to brown the strip slightly. Maybe I should try turning down the temp a bit lower than 400 deg.
