Has anyone seen damage like this to a TC-P55UT50 SS board?
No dg302 short just burnt trace.

I've seen that kind of damage before on other circuit boards. As long as there are no shorts, run some fine wire/s and give it a try. Most times it worked out that this was the only problem. For some unknown reason the Cu trace just gives way and burn. Perhaps a construction flaw where it was thinner not as thick as the rest of the traces on the board. I saw this many times in CRT TVs -

There are 5 thin traces on that side of the board and they all have continuity to each other. I checked a known good board that I have and it has the same. I soldered in a splice and covered it with clear silicone. Both the dg302s were bad, not short but bad.I will have to wait till I get another tv to test my repair.Comment
