Samsung UE55F6800SB

Sorry i have not been on site for long time but i have had some serious health problems not over yet but starting to feel a bit better.

Any way i have this Samsung 55" smart tv model ue55f6800sb that is constantly turning on/off.
Has any one come across this problem before ?

I will include pictures of the p/s board and the main board.

Any help much appreciated.

What happens if you disconnect the mainboard
does it power on and back lights stay on ?

I would replace the main baord
sounds like it has gone bad.

If you have the tv on with backlights on with it disconnected.

Try disconnecting the wifi module.

Just to be sure, you should inspect both ends of the cable that goes between power supply and the main board to see if there are over heated pin.

I have checked both ends of the cable going to between p/s and main board and both ends look okay can't see any burnt pins.

Can you confirm that this is the wifi module connection.

I have removed the connecter and connected a video source to the TV and when plugging in i get full picture and sound. But TV still keeps switching on and off.
So would that confirm the wifi board is ok and my problem is the main board as zomi advised .

My other question is does and one have a link to where i could get this mother board the only one i have seen was on Ebay but the BN number did not match mine and it was very expensive.

Yup bad main board
There's 2 on ebay one for 80 one for 65

Main is to match the model number
off the white sticker.
The bn numbers can vary

its just how it is some boards can be pricey and rare,
I once had to wait nearly a year for a board for a panasonic 55as802 and I had to pay quite a high price for it as it was so rare and rarely came up and it..

Yes
I have seen those boards the £80 one the BN numbers printed on the board are an exact match and the size and date match.
I have sent them a message showing the numbers on my board and asking if they can do me a better price on it i can hope. (although it does say it is new) so if they don't discount it i will probably go ahead and buy it.

And if you expand the picture you can see a lot of burn patches near s/m resisters and ic's

I have spoken to the supplier of the £80 board on Ebay and he says his board would be ok but as it is new he will not reduce the price ?
Before i go ahead and order it does anyone know where i could get one cheaper ?
