Bush LED32982HDT video / image problems

    Colour problems and image retention.

Replaced the T-Con board but still the same, guess it could be possible the Ebay board is also faulty but sold as working and tested so have no reason to disbelieve them.

Tried factory reset in Service Menu but still no change.

Exactly the same symptoms on both HDMI 1 & 2, Scart and USB video playback.

There doesnt appear to be an option to do that on this tv. Mostly all options are 'read only'.

Not sure if this also helps but the panel label also has this printed on it.

Read this from the chip so could possibly be corrupt but thought it might be of use to someone

Attempted to dump the firmware via scart to no avail.
Possibly something not configured right or its not possible to do it from this main board. Pins 10rx,12tx & 13 gnd, 115200baud,1n8. Power on tv and just get 2 "null" 's, and get 1 "null" when tv powered down.
Perhaps it needs to be interrogated with cmd's rather than just automatically dumping out the fw.

do you know the back ground of this tv? could someone else replaced the tcon board with the wrong one and you have also replaced it with the wrong one?
maybe pm ducky29 and see if he can get you the correct firmware i see he has helped a few members out with firmware.

                          Thanks vince, shall pm him!

Unfortunately there is no history known other than given to me as not working properly. It had crossed my mind that the tcon could have already been replaced once and both could be incompatible. Replacing the firmware and possibly the i.c too or the main bd entirely would surely eliminate a few possibilities.

that confirms its the right tcon bd but neither are working so looks like its either a faulty panel or main bd.

The tv looked undisturbed inside before replacing the tcon, tape over the shield was intact.

What you are seeing on the screen is due to bad GAMMA Voltages.

Gamma voltages are all produced by the T-CON Bd and a faulty Main Bd. would/could only produce loss of LVDS and 5/12V. All voltages produced by the T-CON Bd. are derived from the 5/12V supplied from the Main Bd.

Thankyou so he may of received another faulty tcon there does not seem too be many gamma voltage test points on that tcon so maybe best just swap it out again.

I'm new to this kind of device so I will be very happy to get some help with this....
