    Tcl #l32b2500

I am servicing a TCL L32B2500 with no screen light. When I press the remote
to switch on the television there is a dim flash of light on the screen and there is no picture. When I look to the back of the tv there is no led light.I do not have a service manual for this tv but the voltage on the cable which goes to the
LED backlights is 45v and I do not know if this is correct.

Looks like you have bad backlights. Change out all the strips at the same time. I fixed a few of these in Trinidad.

I also believe that the backlights are bad.Where did you get the backlights from?

Crack open the Panel and see how many strips and how many LEDs per strip. I normally buy 32" strips with 10 LEDs per strip and have them as my stock. These strips I use on every backlight replacement I have to do and even up to 50". I usually change out all the strips as the seemingly good originals fail after a short time. There are 32" strips with 6, 7 and 8 LEDs per strip. I buy them new off e-bay from a China supplier.

No. I don't have a direct link to the Supplier. I just type in the search box on e-bay 'Universal LED strips' and all the different suppliers will come up. I have bought four (4) times from four different suppliers. All prices are about the same, I just look for the least expensive supplier at the time and place my order to them via e-bay
