    LG 49LF540V lines

    Have a 2015 LG 49LF540V that has 1 thin vertical line on right of screen and 1 thin horizontal line across centre of screen, have tried to picture them as best as I can. Have cleaned ribbons and contacts on T con board to no avail, fear it may be a bad LCD panel, any help grately appreciated.

      I think you may well be stuck with that 1 line. You could try putting a little pressure on the panel tabs to see if it will go.
      Willing to help but I'm no expert.

          Tried mate, unplugged, cleaned and re plugged everything, wiggled everything whilst on, no change. Such a shame as its a really nice tv n picture is good appart from the lines, as I mentioned only 2015 Tv too!

              this is first age of young panel manufacture , its pixel on lcd it self, no tap or any can fix it

                      Hi guys

                      I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
                      I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

                      never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.

                      Hello:

                      I have both these laptops that appeared to have the same fault so I thought I would have a go at replacing the PCH as something to learn, they both are using the same PCH.


                      I started on the ACER:

                      Up on connecting power no signs of life but current is consumed from the bench power supply and the PCH is hot.
                      All the caps on the top of the PCH are showing 0 ohms and the 3.3v rail is shorted.

                      I followed the videos from Sorin, Electronics Repair School on Youtube heating from the bottom to install. I practised on around 10 scrap...

                      Hello again! I have come back for some wisdom and hopefully for some guidance with this problem I'm having. The TV is a 4k 55" Sharp LC-55p6050u and the problem is every other line of the bottom 32 lines flickers out, comes mostly back, then flickers out again, and repeats this continually. The lines on the bottom right of the screen go out completely while the lines on the bottom left are affected so slightly that it's almost impossible to see it. There is a gradual gradient from appearing almost perfectly fine on the bottom left, to an obvious problem on the bottom right.
