    blinking logo

Hoping someone has information with this problem. Read a post on here about this but wasn't solved. The tv is a vizio e322vl. When plugged in. Logo comes on white then turns orange. It then starts blinking white back to orange 23 times. Goes white for several seconds then back to orange for several seconds. Then starts all over repeating the same 23 blinks. Will do this until it's unplugged. I have replaced the main board with no luck. Have all 5v's no 12v's . I'm thinking it's a firmware problem. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

The firmware updates the mainboard, if you replaced it that can't be the issue, Post some pictures of the rear of the tv with the back removed. and of the boards as possible, They must be clear in focus, straight on pictures

So what voltages do you have at the connector when coming out of standby?

Could we try a force start of the PSU to determine if it is OK or not??

I did force the pson and the 12Vm are there. voltages are. pins 1,2,3 5Vm, pins 4,5,6,7 are sgnd and read 4 + Vm. pins 8,9,10 getting around 1.0Vm. pin 11 pson 1.4Vm. pin 12I on off 1.4Vm. pin13 lanp 1.2Vm. pin 14 dim 5Vm that fluctuates . on main board I have the 5v both sides of fuse, the other fuse nothing.

Simple test, put your old mainboard back in, see if you get the same readings on your connector.

                  Re: blinking logo

I can only test with the set pluged in. power button does nothing. so an update is a no go.

                      Yes, they are ground.

Was your meter set to 20 vdc during testing of the sgnd?

Could try the eeprom, requires some soldering. http://www.shopjimmy.com/vizio-e322v...eprom-only.htm

Is the fuse open? may be a bad IC voltage regulator on mainboard.

Don't have a schematic but pin 11 seems low compared to most tvs, make sure your meter is working right with good batteries and set to 20 vdc.

Make sure the screws holding down the powerboard are not loose.
