    tech32dledbms weird picture

Hi all got a 32 inch techwood tech32dledbms,vestel tv here,it powers up and off with a weird white patch/line in the middle of the screen..
Im thinking screen panel but is it worth buying a 17mb82-2 mainboard to find
    out if its the mainboard?.
Ive had a lot of vestel led tvs and its normally reflashing/backlights/diodes.
But ive never seen one like this, the person i got it off said it had not been knocked..
Thanks for any advice there must be somebody who has had one like this,
of course it could have been knocked..

Any photo's of the inside. Is it an integrated Tcon or a separate board?

Can you post photo's of your boards and back of the set showing how they all connect.

          Do you have this board?

no theres no tcon board so its either panel or the mainboard 17mb82-2,the only way i will know whether its the screen or board is buying the board i guess..

Ive put the tv back together now,all thats in there is the two boards the power board works fine and the only other board to change is the 17mb82-2 i was hoping to see a tcon board in the tv but theres def no tcon board,it was the first thing i looked for as i know some versions of this tv have one.Without a lcd panel tester i guess ill have to buy the board on ebay and take a chance,by the way does anybody have one of the cheap led panel testers from ebay?,and do they work with vestel?,are they any good or a waste of money?,as most of the tvs i get are vestel, thanks.

The led testers are a useful device but it drives the leds at a lower current than they generally operate on.
If you have an open circuit led string then the leds will not light so it's useful for that test.
If you have a led(s) breaking down at a higher current than the tester can supply then the tester could not indicate that fault.

Ultimately it depends on how many sets you intend to work on.

I have a EXV2010 LCD Panel tester With this one you can test the Main Bd. T-CON Bd. and Panel. It has a built in screen so by supplying the Main Bd. with voltage and taking the LVDS signal from the Main Bd. and , just connect directly to the tester and you would determine if the Main Bd. is working or not.

This is what it looks like. This is not my picture. Actually it was given to me as a gift from a fellow engineer from Malaysia.

                            by Ierwin
                            Hello everyone,

I got a 58pus7805 that shows some weird behavior.
The menu and remote work fine and the picture is looking crisp and flawless while navigating the menu.
However, when a video source is displayed the screen either goes solid green (HDMI), solid black (SAT TV) or shows some fragments on mostly green background (AVI Playback from USB).

I tried to reinstall the firmware through the menu which was rejected saying it already had the latest version.
I managed to install the latest official firmware by holding the control button while plugging...

Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                            Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                            First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
                            by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                            by TR103
                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                            - it keeps rebooting
                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
                            by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started β€˜fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly β€˜new' Tcon board this time, and
