Vizio E420VL One Vertical white line

    Hi folks,
A question that someone may know the answer to without much effort.. I bought a Vizio E420VL and the only issue it has is a vertical line (very thin, almost like one column of pixels) about 1/3 of the screen from the right.

It goes the full length of the screen vertically. I thought it was a glass bonding issue with tabs, but I can't seem to apply pressure anywhere to get rid of it. I reseated all cables - No luck.

Any idea what that might be? Is it a tosser?
    Thanks

It can be bad TFT driver embedded driver IC on the flexible PCB that is connected between the LCD panel and the tab bonding board.

Unfortunately in any case it is almost certainly a bad panel and not repairable, there is a small chance you could shim it with a "tab bond" fix but the longevity of such a repair is unknown. I guess if you want to keep it going for as long as possible you could try that.

Thank you. there are no ICs on the board between the LVDS cables and panel, only caps and resistors - tested ok I think.

The puzzling part is that there is nowhere I can apply pressure or move the tab to get rid of this line. I just want to make sure it's not on the main board. I want to part it out and I don't want to sell a board that's defective.

TFT driver IC's, they are not on PCB, they are on flexible PCB.
Main board cannot cause single line on the screen.
