    hey guys i have a kinda off topic question but if there is a place for another cap but there was never put in can i add one to improve the circuit or just leave it alone?

      Those are Rubycon so they may be OK, but one way to find out is to at least test the capacitance and the ESR of those caps.

        Ya i already decided to replace every cap anyways just do to age and it being almost 9 years old anyways and i dont have a esr meter need to get one. -thanks

          Just a little update got the shop jimmy repair kit and got it all installed just waiting for the caps now also the cap and little ic was simple the audio ic was a motherloving bitch though here's some pics. I had to get a exacto knife to see if any pin would move to make sure it was soldered and had to worry about the smallest solder bridge but its all good now.

            I wouldn't have replaced the audio IC. Repair kits always have more parts than you need. You could end up causing more damage or introducing new problems.

              yea was not smart on my part and i will need to scavenge a 470ohm resistor as i knicked it when screwing with that ic.

                ok just a little update shes all fixed up now thanks for all the help everyone also if anyone attempts this repair probably dont change audio ic, its a bitch to install.
