    Engel Led tv problem

Started few mounts ago with winter TV not turnig on until i heated it up with my halogen heater, but worked normaly after cold start turn of and on without problem, and now when winter is over it was starting sometimes even without heating till today no start.
Opened it blown fuse and some black burning around this transistor https://ibb.co/cTMkdc https://ibb.co/eokYWx.
Replaced fuse and as soon as i conected power boom fuse gone and crack from transistor like capacitor discharged on him, i desoldered it and check it with multimeter and he is working fine, check all diodes and some other components evrything seems ok but obviusly i am missing something, i soldered other fuse and try to power on without transistor soldered and i get 5v on standby but no light on and i have power normaly until that transistor and transformator. what could it be that is discarging capacitor trew transistor or is it discharging because fuse is blown?

We need good clear straight shot pictures of the whole top side and the bottom side of the board so we trace out the circuit and able to read printed texts on the board. Please upload the pictures here at B.C.
We do not have the board in front of us to look at so the better the pictures are the better help you will get.
BTW, what is the history of this TV? Any one else worked on it before you?

No work on TV , bough it a few years ago i don't even remember how long exactly but around 5years and was working perfectly till now.
I soldered glass fuse same spec as the one before but it is difrent IT WAS SR-5-3.15A-AP and on heatsink transistor is middin because it is desoldered curently ot is SW10N65 transistor.

heat making things work is mostly bad capacitors or bad solder joints .. sometimes it can also be a transistor . heat makes better connections sometimes.

What should i look for that is discarging those 2 big capacitor on Q4 and blowing fuse . all diodes and transistors are good other components not sure how much should it be on some resistors that are almoust without resistance

Acctualy problem wasn't in bad solder, i bought thermal paste mount transisto on heatsink and boom goes again discharge on transistor, transistor is somehow shorting to ground on sink, no wisible damaged but i isolated litle screw that holds transistor , mount transistor and now it is good.
Thanks for trying to help evryone

Did you replace the original transistor (SW10N65 which is a mosfet) with one that has a metal back on it. If you did then the metal back, which is the Drain, will short to the heatsink.

i would replace that mosfet with a new one as may have a hairline crack you cant see in the casing etc

I suspect that my problem started with an old power strip, of which a computer and a 2000W heater were plugged into...
I noticed melting and heat where the heater was plugged in, so i plugged the heater directly into a double wall socket, but still noticed the muffled pop sound when i turned on the computer, and...

Hello, I disassembled this dead camera, and found this WTF… Two fuses soldered one above the other !
I was pretty sure nobody touched it before, but that can't be from factory. There is flux, and capacitor is probably missing.
                          The other weird thing : the fuses are « G » fuse : (0.75A – 8V), seems very low. The original fuse should be « O » : (32V 2,5A).
There is « O » mark beside. All fuses have the same mark letter on main board. So, I can deduce it's a « O » fuse.
And this correspond to the issus I saw : when I plug the battery, I measure the voltage dropping...

Help replacing fuse on my Mimaki CJV300-160 vinyl printer
                          by jshhh
                          Hi guys,

I'm inexperienced with electronics repairs, I've done a little bit of soldering caps and whatnot, but i have a blown fuse on this mimaki printer I got which I have bought a replacement for.

How do I remove this type of fuse (see picture)...it kinda looks like it would pull out of that bracket but it didn't come at first pull and I didn't want to brute force it incase it's soldered on there like most of the rest of the components.

Anybody know how to remove this type of fuse?

(The fuse is toward the bottom of the image labeled F2)...

Argon SA1 audio amplifier power-supply - fuse blown after fixing the short?
                          by Babbar
I found a project in the electronics trash yesterday. A nice Argon SA1 audio amp with some electrical issue. Took it apart and saw that the 4A250V fuse was blown so started lifting components to find the short. Eventually got to two MOSFETs (model FTA14N50C) that are shorted and when i took them out the short was gone.

Now i didn't have any replacements of the same model of course but i found a couple with pretty similar spec i thought (K10A60D & K12A50D) and put them in. Also replaced the blown fuse with a 3.5A250V one. Checked another time for short circuit and plugged it in....

                          Matsui 175S microwave fuse replacement
                          by drykid
                          Hi,

I recently picked up a used Matsui 175S microwave that was powering up (starts, turntable rotates) but not heating. From looking online the most likely culprit was the fuse, but unfortunately in this one the fuse had heated up and fused with the (badly designed) fuse holder and couldn't be removed. I guess this might indicate further issues beyond the fuse itself but at this stage I just want to replace the fuse and see how I go from there.

Anyway since I couldn't get out the fuse itself the easiest fix was to replace the fuse holder assembly that runs between the...
