G'day all, my housemate has asked me to take a look at his dead LCD. It was originally firing up and then shutting off, now nothing at all.
Have the back off and can clearly see a little blue capacitor (C603) has lost its insides as most of it is missing. Pretty much right next to that it also looks like a mosfet has arced out and caused damage (Q602).
There are two numbers on the board...
LG PN EAY62169801 and
PCB PN eax62865401/8
Does anyone know if I buy a board with those same numbers will it be compatible, even if it's out of another model type? Or is there pots to adjust etc after replacing the psu?
Reason I ask is I can find several listings for that PSU, but they are all pulled from other models.
