LG 42PT350R clicking problem fixed but still doesn't turn on

    Hi,

Replaced a few igbts on ysus and zsus and now the clicking stopped, also the voltages VS and VA are ok. But, when I connect all boardes together it burn out one of the igbt on the ysus.
What I came up to is when I disconnect the ribbon cable between the zsus and the T-CON board, it doesn't burn out the igbt on the ysus.
I know there should be 15V on ysus/zsus/t-con but I am not getting it. All other voltages are ok.

Are you running it without all the Ysus screws put back in which I think causes problems.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

These boards have floating grounds. This is not a joke. 1 or 2 screws left out without that particular lug touching a ground point will have disastrous results

the only difference is that F is for voltages of up to 400V
and J is for up to 600V.

My VZBIAS should be 125V and I am getting only 55V.

                                  What could be the reason?

on my Ysus bd when IGBTs were shorted - also had (2) 2.2 ohm resistors shorted. check those. also check the 15V line on the Ysus board when the set is on from first startup. Mine would go to 18V then go down to 4.1V.

your problem is the Ysus - 15V, 15fl, 5fl, are all generated on the Ysus bd. either bad Ysus or bad panel

Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

Carver CM-1090 - Power relay clicking on & off, then fuse blown after 20-30 seconds of power cycling.

I gotten a Carver CM-1090 amplifier from a friend who has kept it in storage for decades. Opened it up, thick layer of dust cumulated everywhere. Vacuumed it semi-cleaned, and blown off as much as possible the remaining dust. This is a 220V version.

On initial powered up with nothing connected - it works with all the lights and button indicator lit up as pressed, etc. I then powered off, connected a CD player into the CD RCA input and powered it on. It seemed to work for a short while and when I turned the volume up and down to see the the VUs works, the power started to clicked off...

                                          Greetings all!

Originally this set had the usual messed up video symptoms such as: horizontal lines, weak, grainy video, bottom and top of picture differ in intensity of problem. It also seemed to slow to turn on or show the messed up picture.

Seemed like must be YScan/buffer board failure. Ordered buffer boards from my distributor which were supposed to be original/new and also from another distributor, I ordered the YSUS because I wanted to replace it for preventative maintenance. (also, the YSUS had a bulged cap, so there was even more reason to suspect it could...
