    Are these screens repairable?

the big one is an RCA. the smaller Vizio tv is quite older and not sure if it's worth it, but I still want to know for sure.

No, New panels would cost more to replace than a new tv. sell the boards and backlights

The cracked LCD panel cannot be repair, if you want to replace the panel the all you have to do is to get the model number of the LCD panel and search for the replacement then you will see how much the replacement will be.

oh alright that's simple. I'm having trouble finding those panels though. I see everything else.

Good used panels are hard to come by (probably 95%+ of parted out TVs are parted out due to broken panels) and new panels would cost more than those TVs are worth (and possibly more than a brand new TV of similar size).

Can't find any of the RCA listed for sale, but I can't imagine a used one (working) going for much more than $100, I see 2 similar Vizios (both listed as working) listed on eBay one for $35 and one for $50, you're very unlikely to find a good panel for less than those prices. Even brand new 32" TVs can be found for less than $150 and 42" TVs for less than $250 these days and both of those TVs were entry-level sets when new.

A broken panel on an LCD (or plasma) TV is rarely worth repairing.

            edit, beat me too it

Issues with new Surface Pro 5 screens
                by diamon
I have three Microsoft Surface Pro 5 model 1796, with all cracked screens.
Have bought from Aliexpress three new screens, the part numbers from my and the seller are the same:

Bad working China screen part number:

Good working own screen part number

Error I get with the bad working China screen:

No error with the good working own screen:

All the three China screens (all the same exact part numbers) produce the same error in Device manager. Have also performed a clean installation...

                Onn tablet screen
                by cashkennedy
An ebay seller shipped me this broken tablet by mistake, and so I got my money back, but there are a decent amount of these seemingly in perfect shape but with screen issues (this tablet was clearly a return that had never been used or setup, so I don't think any physical damage occurred, also is a kids model so large bumpers on cover that isn't in picture) Is this a loose lvds cable or anything repairable beyond replacing the screen which would come with its own integrated tcon which is maybe where the problem would be?

The power on screens just exhibit the sideways smear, once...

Does anyone know about 16x2 LCD screens used in alarm keypads?
                by Ady2017
I have got an old Gardtec GT595 alarm which has got a faulty keypad with a failed LCD screen. This was apparently a very common problem with these and many people have had to replace the whole alarm because of this problem. Somebody claims to be able to repair the keypads by replacing the screen and I have tried it myself by replacing the LCD with a commonly available HD44780 1602 16x2 Serial LCD screen but it is not working. I am sure it is a problem with a driver or simular which is not allowing the screen to talk to the rest of the electronics. Does anyone know what this original screen was...

                Busted panel corners... Repairable?
                by x_orange90_x
I have a 50" Toshiba bezel-less that I replaced backlights in a few weeks ago. The tape didn't hold well so the panel started hanging from the top. The pressure caused the two bottom corners to shear off. I can see a court contact on the right corner, but the left is gone in assuming. The screen is not cracked anywhere else, but it displays no image.

Is it at all repairable? I'm assuming not....
