    I've replaced LEDs on strips and most tomes get a call-back on that repair. If it is just one LED on a strip and the other s are good on the other strips, perhaps I may still do that repair, but as long as there is 2 or 3 LEDs on a strip and then 1 on the other strips, I'll change all.

      So have I. That's my rule of thumb too. If it's one LED on 1 strip in the whole TV I'm going to chalk it up to badd soldering or defective LED. 2 or more replace all.
      Did I leave the soldering iron on?

        I am not worried about sets that come in with bad LEDs anymore. They are very fixable. Or should I say, it's now cost effective to fix them and you don't wait three weeks for parts from China.
