    Sharp LC-32D64U Blink Codes

    I have a Sharp TV that isn't turning on. After plugging in, green front LED turns on and then after about 20 seconds flashes an error code of power and OPC together and then power LED only 2 more times.

    If I am interpreting it right, then it is a PS fault but then there is a secondary blink code on a notification LED. Not sure where this notification LED is. Confusing.

      I checked a similar manual and the it looks like the notification led is the same as the OPC led

      so how many times does it flash power and opc leds together?

          The power and opc leds flash once together and then the just the power led two more times at the same rate. Pause and then repeat.

          I took the cover off the main board and there is a led flashing there as well. Looks like the TV is failing to turn on the backlight. When first plugged in, I have 15V from PS and PS_ON from the processor. The led on the main board flashes about 13-14 times, there is a relay click, and it repeats 3-4 times. The 15V then shuts down and it flashes the codes in the front.

          The PS error codes are misleading since there are regulators on the main board and the PS fault codes deal with these internal voltages and not the PS board.

          Still investigating. Thinking possibly inverter board or lamps but this fault doesnt match the error codes.

              Found post here which describes the same symptoms and it was fixed by replacing the main board. 32" TV's aren't worth that much so not worth replacing.

                  Have you tried going into adjustment mode, Hold down VOL(-) + input then plug in the tv and see if gives a picture,
                  If the Lamp Error gets too high, the tv will not turn on.
                  Also Remove the inverter board and check the ground screw connections, If they look black and arced, try cleaning them, then going into adjustment mode and reset lamp error.
                  I also recall this model did have some main board issues

                      Reinvestigating this, power LED blinks 3 times which is communications error. OPC is notification LED and 1 blink indicating error on startup.

                          Hello, looking for a list of error codes for this TV. made in 2020, its manufactured by Hisense under Sharp brand. No clicks, black screen, no sound, power light is on solid. When I press power, it blinks 5 normal blinks and 1 short. and nothing happens.
                          Anybody has a list of error codes that might apply to this TV? I have not opened it yet.

                          I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
                          It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.


                          So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
                          After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

                          Hello, does anyone have the blink code for this model? I have the schematic but it doesn't list the blink codes. After the set is on for a minute or two, it will shut down and blink 10 times.

                          I write this to maybe help another with this TV.

                          So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.

                          The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.

                          Hello guys,

                          I have SHARP LC-70UC30U which won't turn on and the stand by LED blinks the 1 LONG 1 SHORT error
                          According to other sharp SM-s it is lamp error (I can't find SM for this model)
                          And yes I checked other blink error threads on the forum about other Sharp models and still can't make it work.

                          If I unplug the set and hold the POWER and INPUT buttons while I'm plug it back the set fires up and shows sharp logo and after that the Android logo and turn itself off again and starts the blinking and wont turn on again except if I do the RESET procedure again....
