    Philips 32pfl3404 - problem

    Hello,

i have this 32pfl3404, and when i turn it on they need a couple of minutes to show picture. It show's some grey lines and shadows after a few time show picture.

I open it and i take down allmost all caps to measure it, some ahe more than 20% diffrent uF than they should have. So i replaced it with new. I only didnt replaced the big cap on board. I get it together and turn it on. And the picture show quicker only a few seconds after turn on. Then was some time okey. But now is the same problem, and need some time to turn on. What to do ?

    Thanks

Did you replace with low esr caps?
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Heat up the main board with an hair drier and see if that fixes the problem. Maybe there are bad caps on it too.

The t-con is the culprit, seen a lot with defective t-cons of this model. In the worst case the display itself is defective

Philips HTS8000 home cinema noise problem
            by courtcircuit
            Hello

I have since a long time a Philips HTS8010S/01 which has been old but was doing the job.

Since a few days, it starts by making a weird "static" nois when switches on for a few seconds to a minute and then works like a charm.
Noise loudly outputs from the 3 channels, even if no signal is sent by the controler.DVD to the subwoofer/amp unit.

I was thinking of a soldering that was starting to be damaged and that was only doing the job after a few seconds of heating, most probbaly on the power board
            Removed each of tyhe boards

AOC AGON AG273QCG refresh problem picture shifts
            by doorzon
            Hi all,

hopefully someone on this board has an idea on how to begin with troubleshooting this problem.

The monitor AOC AGON AG273QCG (curved 27" QHD monitor) has problems refreshing every 1 to 2 seconds or so. A line appears in the middle of the screen and the lower half of the screen is shifted to the right.

            See attached picture.

I am leaning towards an issue with bad soldering of the graphics chip, because the problem used to go away after some time (minutes) but now it is here to stay.
However, this could also be related...

Philips 58PUS8545 t-con problem or something else ?
            by atkallu
            Hello
I have a Philips 58PUS8545 which have a vertical moving lines on screen and it is flashing white vertical lines like a every 3-4 seconds.
            See the attached image.

I removed left side flex-cable from the t-con and then there was half screen sharp and correct image and other half was white.
But when I removed the right side flex-cable then half of the screen was white but other half was white and above the white there was vertical lines on half of the screen.

T-con two flex-cables have been changed to cross but nothing changed, so it is not due those...

Philips 50PUS7363/12 Backlight but no picture
            by groomit
            Hi,
I'm having trouble with above mentioned TV. Bought it defect.
Picture was heavily compressed around the horizontal axis. Fiddeled and tried different things (mask clock lines, swap T-Con). But no difference.
Then I identified a heating capacitor on the left hand Signal-PCB (?) below the display. Replaced it by hand soldering. Checked for shorts afterwards. But now the screen stays black.

I can see backlight, but screen stays black.
            What I've tried:
            - Disconnect right side cable from T-Con -> same (backlight but no pic)
            - Disconnect left side...
