Getting an ever increasing number of backlight repairs lately. I would be interested to know what others do as regards whether or not they replace delayed start indvidual LED on some strips. Upto now ive always looked at these as potential early signs of failure so replaced them to be on the safe side. I would be interested to know what the general consensus is regarding the replacement of leds that havnt failed but slow start.

trouble i see with them is they are run far too hard from the start . another built in killer of tv.s timed just after warranty runs out . fit new ones and turn brightness down of the back lights .
service manuals say renew the lot . expensive i know . -

Led's are cheap. I would replace any that I suspect as badI assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.Comment
