    Rca led65g55r120q BackLight strips?

Hello I am working on a Rca LED65G55R120Q Needs Backlight Strips.
I was wondering has anyone worked on this model and how many strips usually have to be replaced in this model. I think there are 20.
    Thank you, phil

It all depends on how you want to make repair. Replace the bad led's, replace just the strips with the bad led's or replace all the strips
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Do you have the LCD panel model number? It should have a small sticker for the model number of the LCD panel.

I am asking you to provide the model of the LCD panel NOT the TV model number.

There are more than one version of this model, the strips will have to be matched with the correct LCD panel being use in the TV.

            Re: Rca led65g55r120q BackLight strips?

im trying to fix one of these for a customer...how can i use the LCD panel sticker to determine which strips to get? on shopjimmy it seems to say you have to look on the strips themselves to be sure of the part number...it sure would be nice to know for sure just from the lcd panel sticker...which in my haste, i forgot to take a picture of...i want to have the strips ready when i take the panel apart because i cant exactly take the panel apart and leave it open for days at the customers house, taking up the kitchen table and the counter while we wait for the strips come in the mail!

also i cant be sure how many strips i need but some sellers on ebay are selling them in a pair so i was gonna gamble that only 2 strips would be out... but now if i want to do this all in one day, i have to gamble on the part number of the strip as well?

            am i feeling lucky?

budm, do you know how to determine what part number will be on the led strips, just from whats on the lcd panel sticker?
            Don't fear the repair...

Which resistor should I remove/replace to decrease current to backlight leds?

Dear community, I want to increase the lifespan of my backlight led in my TV by decreasing the current.

However I need some help identifying the resistor I need to replace to achieve this.

              Thank you!

RCA RLDED 4331B: 43 inch LED TV: Backlight issue
              by lmcancu
Hi I am having an issue with the LED backlight of this TV. I can see the picture with a flash light, so I determined it was a backlight issue.

Initially, after opening it I found 2 shorted and 1 open LED on 2 strips (total of 4). I removed the LEDs and shorted the pads together to verify if the backlight would work.

Testing it, I found the backlight turned on and I measured 54V when TV was in standby (off), and 100v when TV was turned on. The 4 strips each contain 9 LEDs, so 36 in all minus 3.

Instead of putting it back together I decided to replace...

Guide me through repairing a Dell p2210f LCD ccfl backlight monitor
              by DanPoka
I bought this p2210f dell monitor to fix. Schematic is the same as p2210.
Behaviour is that monitors comes on but then backlight switches off almost instantly. If I look with flashlight I can still find the "No signal message". So definitely a backlight issue. Trying to advance the issue I proved that the protection circuit is switching off the backlight by shorting out C3 and resistor to disable the INL chip then re enable by removing the short.
This is where it gets interesting. When I disassembled the monitor to solder leads on c3 capacitor I noticed the backlight flickered...

              No Backlight Macbook A1990 820-01041
              by Comp_Pro
              Hello all,

Am trying to figure out this backlight issue with this A1990 Macbook Pro.

              Tests performed:

There is no backlight even with a good screen.
Backlight IC is receiving the correct support voltages.
              Fuse F8400 ok
              Current sense resistor R8400 ok
Backlight IC is receiving 3.3V on enable pin.
Backlight IC receiving voltage from PPBUS_G3H, aprox 12.5V.
Backlight IC receiving 5V from PP5V_G3S
Backlight IC BKLT_SCL and BKLT_SDA both measure 0.545V diode mode to ground
              I2C_BKLT_SCL and I2C_BKLT_SDA both measure...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
              by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...
