    Re: Samsung ln46d610 power cycling

I get 5.2 volts on that PIN when main board is disconnected. If I remove power it goes to 0 volts. When I connect the main board backup I get 2.5 to 3.2 volts. When the main board is disconnected and I'm getting 5.2 volts on that PIN if I flex the power board I can make the voltage jump between 3 and 5 volt I went over the board touched up any solder joints that I could see and even ones I couldn't see you looking bad something seems to be grounding out in that 5 volt circuit

Played around with the TV again disconnect the inverter TV powers up stays on. Shine the flashlight on the screen and I do have a picture. With inverter connected it just power Cycles. If I disconnect the main board the back lights come on but pulse on and off. If I put a screwdriver and touch any of the heat sinks on the power supply while the back lights are pulsing they will stay on as long as I'm touching the heatsink with the screwdriver. I have gone over the whole power supply and touched up every solder joint

Wood a bad inverter or one of the LCD lights cause this or is it just a bad power supply
