Hi. I have twenty-two (22) new (and used) cold-cathode fluorescent tubes for 42" AUO LCD television panels. Lamps are 3.4mm ( .130 in) in diameter, and 950mm (37.4 in) long. No modifications necessary for these AUO panels - they'll plug right in. These are from a Sanyo DP-42848 television that had the classic 'two seconds to black' condition. I got this one repaired, only to learn that it had a bad LCD panel. I state 'new and used' as I purchased 18 new ones from China, but there were a few that were broken in transit, so I had to use a few of my used ones. I no longer know which are new and which are used. All are good, tested lamps. I'd just like to see them used instead of recycled. If you need some, let me know and I'm sure we can get together.

by eccerr0rWell, due to my grid tie inverter not accepting high voltages, and the fact that the lions in my solar panels are 36V (72-cell) I think I need to stick with 72-cell.
However I have a few smaller panels that are 36, 32, and two 30-cell. The 36 and 32 together run at 75% efficiency (and subtract more with additional inefficiencies) when running in parallel with the 72-cell panels. The kicker is that the two 30s... generate 0% power when connected in parallel(!)
So now what to do with these small panels?
I could sell them...
Or I could shim them.... -
by cj_rehaHey all
I've been working on a 1984 Sanyo 27" color TV which had a smattering of bad caps in the video switching circuit. I found this oddball little 1uF 25V cap which looks to me like an early polymer, but I can't find concrete info proving it. I know Sanyo was a big player in early polymer cap development and this is the time period where they were just getting on the market, so I'm wondering if anyone has crusty old datasheets that could help identify it and determine if my suspicions are right? It has the same epoxy end seal and font/formatting as some old stock Os-Cons I've got laying...

by toddw65Hey All,
I have a Sanyo DP5834 that did have an issue with the backlights, but I disassembled the unit and repaired the LED strips by resoldering all of the connectors. Now I've reassembled it and I have backlights and sound, but a grayish screen. I can tap on the screen and see that it's on, but no picture. All voltages seem to be correct on the power board.
Based on the LCD Flat panel TV troubleshooting guide by Bud Martin, I'm thinking the T-Con has failed because I'm getting 12v both into and out of FP1 on the T-Con. Am I on the right track?
Thanks,...5 Photos -
by hugocarmoHi again guys.
Today I have a problem with this Sanyo VCR.
I bought it online, It worked sometimes.
I recap the Power supply and it started working fine.
Image is perfect and all digital effects too.
All of a sudden it stopped outputting sound. I checked for dried solders an all boards and soldered when needed, no fix.
I have no sound on playback, on tuner, or aux in.
On symptom I noticed is when it was working fine, the HI-FI led was on when I power up the VCR, now is OFF, A-B leds are on but when I put a tape they go off.
On one of the sound processing... -
by NolesFanI have a TV, ( example ) Sony XBR-75X80G that the LED panel is cracked, does anyone know if we can take the LED panel from a ( example ) Sony XBR-75X80H and plug it in and it will work? Or if the panel measurements is not exact, can we take the internals of the cracked panel 80G TV and mount into the good panel 80H TV? Thank you06-23-2025, 09:19 AM
