at this point you can replace your main or see if you can find a fault on the one that you have. you would need to check the caps for esr/capacitance value and i could see 1 ldo regulator that you can check. could be others on the board, i just couldn't see any.

One thing i forgot to mention, don't know if this matters at all but when running that 470~1K resistor trick. The Backlights would come on before i turned on the power to the unit. So when power was turned on there was really no noticeable difference on the screen. But when i would power down the unit they would(Backlights) go off. Still cant get into the menu or anything associated to the initial set up.

when you jump a ps on, or bl/on you will have no control over it any more. it has now been hard wired. these signals come from the main board and in bypassing them, you are able to rule out faults in the ps or inverter/backlight section.

what i thought was an ldo on the main appears to be something else. the new pics allowed the top of the ic to be read, and i was unable to find any info on it.

i am unsure if you can get an eeprom for this set, someone else might have the deets on that.

i believe that they are similar to pc versions. they hold all of the prior settings that the tv had when it is turned off, so it can restart in the same state as it was.

I think I would just find a main board as troubleshooting mains is rather involved
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

                        Hello,

YouTube video of the problem encountered: https://youtube.com/shorts/q7TLNv36LUo

I am a pro and I have a problem that I have never seen despite my 7.5 years of experience on my own and my thousands of repairs, on a customer's Dell G3 15 3500.

On this PC I have already changed the complete palmrest because the keyboard was no longer working properly.

I also changed the screen because the PC fell and the screen was broken.

I changed the battery with a new and original battery.

I also had corrosion/oxidation on the...

                        Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

                        Hello everyone !

My name is Chris, I am a 30 years old embedded software developer working in the automotive industry. I am really passionate about learning new skills and repairing/crafting stuff. I came around this forum last week with the goal of repairing my faulty gaming laptop, indeed, I was video editing on it when suddenly a black screen popped and never disappeared I bought some stuff to try to repair it and learn as many things as possible about computer repairs but nothing worked so far. When the black screen appeared, my legion 5 pro was connected to my external monitor...

Acer Aspire E5-574-52RH - black screen
                        by DaniK
                        Hi everyone,
I have this strange behaviour with Acer Aspire E5-574-52RH, i5 6200U, intel graphics, DA0ZRWMB6G0 Rev G, model ZRW.
Laptop came in for a SSD upgrade, took everything apart to install the SSD.
Everything started after modifying BIOS settings to boot UEFI instead of Legacy.
Laptop works fine, i installed windows 10 and drivers/updates, everything works ok(when it works)
The black screen problem is random, maybe 5 out 10 times, laptop remains with the black screen, no image

                        Symptoms are:
                        - random black screen after displaying Acer logo...

                        by paqman
So our beloved M60-C3 up and died the other day. I was not there, my wife mentioned that it came on, displayed the logo, then showed the right half of the screen white and fuzzy, with the left half of the screen ok. However when I got around to looking at it, the screen would not come on at all. The indicator LED will come on, then dim a bit. After a while, the LED might blink a bunch of times. I can't get it to be consistent to do that.

So I've got the back off and am checking voltages. The capacitors on the power supply board visually check out. No bulges or anything. They all show...
