RCA LED television trouble

I have a three year old 55" RCA TV. Model # LED55G55R120Q. I have no image. I also lost sound but I replaced the power board and now I have sound but still no image.
When I shine a flashlight near the screen I can see images so I think the back lights are not working. I'd like to replace the panel that controls the LED lights but I don't know which panel does that.
Besides the power panel I see two other panels in the back. One is model # RE55R011-A1. The other is model # 55120RE01M3393LNA35-C1 and all the accessory plug ins are in it.
Any idea which of these boards controls the back lights? Thank you.

You could post some pictures of the boards etc. Maybe the power board is different or bad? From what I can tell the power supply,supplies the voltage for the backlights. ther is also a backlight ON control line that comes from the main board (the one with the inputs)
so if the power supply is ok then I suspect there are some bad led's in the panel

With the set up and running can you measure BL-ON voltage (CON4, pin 3) and also the voltages on the led connector CON5 and post the results.

CON4
Pin 3  BL_On = xx.xV

Con5
Pin 1  Led-  xx.xV
Pin 2  NC
Pin 3  Led+  xx.xV
Pin 4  NC
Pin 5  NC
Pin 6  Led-  xx.xV
Pin 7  Led+  xx.xV

At switch on the voltage on the led connector may well peak but then drop quickly so if you have a min/max function on your multimeter that would help. Try and catch the maximum voltage on each pin of CON5 at switch on.

This will take a while. I'll have to find me a meter. I'm not into all this stuff so I don't own tools. I'm not afraid to try and fix stuff, either.
I just don't wan to throw away a three year old TV. My option is to take it to a repair shop if I fail in my quest.

Well. I took the TV to a repair shop. The gentlemen who owns it seemed very experienced and upfront with me.
After a couple of days he called me to tell me he did not think it was worth fixing it. He explained that one or more LEDs are burnt out. He told me he tested it and got one side (half) of the panel to come on.
He explained that the panel would have to be replaced and if we could even find it, it would be expensive. He thought those panels were no longer made.
His estimate to fix it was around $200, again, if we could even find the panel.
Considering the TV is only 3 years old I think it would be worth repairing it but I'd have to find another repair shop to take it to. This one guy does not want to mess with it.
Any thoughts out there, suggestions, ideas?

It would seem odd that both leds burnt out and panel fault at the same time although it is possible.

The burnt out leds can be replaced and there are plenty of Youtube video's showing how to do it or buy replacement strips from someone like Shopjimmy.

Check once again with a bright light that you can see a full picture on the panel to establish that it's only a backlight problem.

i would think that you just have some bad led's and the guy who you took it too did not want to open up the panel, so told you that the panel was shot.

if i was you, i would open it up myself and have a better look at things.

I really appreciate all the input. I feel the same way. there's gotta be a way to fix it and not necessarily expensive, either. I'm just not knowledgeable in electronics. Anyway I will try it and hopefully I'll be able to tap into all the knowledge in this forum.
I'll start with the bright light on the screen. I'm sure I have image but I'll check it again.
