    Sony kdl-55ex723 4 blinks.

Need help on eliminating if its the ldblk board or if it is a bad L.E.D. I have come a cross some bad leds in tv's already. So I just bought a led tv backlight tester. Model GJ2C.
I have played with it a little on a bad set of leds. So I'm somewhat getting the hang of it.

Comes on for 2 seconds I can see channels 4 but then turns off
But anyways kdl-55ex723 with 4 red blinks. I tested the strips in the tv and I'm getting 180v out of each wire. There are 4 negatives and 4 positives. Is there a way to test the ldblk board..

So it has 4 strings of LEDs and each string shows total Vf of 180V?
We need good clear pictures of the whole backside fo the TV showing all the board so we can see what we are dealing with.

"There are 4 negatives and 4 positives."
OK, you need to test the DCV at all 4 Negative which are the cathode return for the LED strings.
What you have to do is:
          1) TV is OFF.
          2) Black probe of the meter to the chassis.
          3) Red probe of the meter on the first Negative.
          4) Keep your eye on the meter and then turn on the TV and see what the Voltage reading is before the screen black out, then turn the TV off.
          5) Move the red probe to the second Negative and then repeat step 4, then do that 2 more times for Negative 3, Negative 4.
          6) Report those 4 readings to us.
We are looking to see if all 4 Negatives give us the same reading or not.

Sorry been very busy. Seems like when I get down with one thing 5 more things get in the way. Buy anyways
I tested it first with the negative connector disconnected
Here are the numbers. I got 2 different numbers on the same per wire.

            1. 42.xx dcv and 122.xx dcv
            2. 39.83 dcv and 120.xx dcv
            3. 41.43 dcv and 121.00 dcv
            4. 40.50 dcv and 120.50 dcv

Then I did it with the negative connector plugged in, then I got the same first numbers just no high dcv.

I do not understand your results, what I need are the reading on the Negative return wires with every thing all hooked back up in place.
