So I'm having the same issue as everybody else only a little bit different I have not read anybody having the same problem as me in this form yet. So I'm power up on both the backlight output + I Spike around 173 and then drop down to 89.9 on both drivers. On the DC- circuit on one side it spikes around 13 and drops to 6 and stay steady there the other side is reading 60 volts at all times. Why am I getting 60 volts on the negative I just put in eight brand new strings. The problem I'm having is aside from it flashing when the screen comes on and going right back off is when I replace the lights I can watch the TV for about anywhere from 10 minutes to 3 days before it burns out one of the LED's I'm trying to figure out why it's doing this any help would be fantastic. Thank you guys oh yeah one last thing is this an indication of a short to ground or not necessarily ground but to the feedback on the negative there is one connector that was kind of iffy connecting the second strip to the 3rd in series on the first driver that would be the one that's reading 60 volts I'm going to take it all apart and see what I see but I look forward to your responses thank you

So is an update here I did test all the LED back light strips and they are all functioning properly not one burned out bulb all 60 are good. Still get the same thing put the power board back in in the motherboard back in and I get a bright flash and that's it during power up and a bright flash during power off I don't know what happened it was working like I said I watched the TV for 3 days after we play some one strip and then after third day it went out so I bought a whole new set put them in and it worked for like 10 minutes and then it went out and now everything's working fine everything's hooked up fine everything measures fine except for that 60 volts on the negative line I don't get that. Any help would be nice thank youComment

by StephenHello, got a weird MacBook Air here
board looks fresh and no water damage, backlight works and turns on and stays on when installing OS etc. However, when the os is installed and when the system files are loaded before the login page the backlight goes out. I have wiped it, NVRAM reset, etc and even took some other instances and this blows my mind, never seen this before. Backlight just turns off once the OS is loaded. Anyone come across this and if so what would be the cause? I am certain its a board issue since I tested the LCD on another board and it stays on. Again the backlight works... -
by CornitoHello Team,
I'm back with another backlight issue that I thought was simple, but it turned out to be more complex than expected.
Let me provide a brief history: The TV was working well, then one day, the backlight started and shut down. I thought I had an LED issue leading to this behavior, so I replaced the LEDs with brand new ones. However, the issue remains the same.
Next, I replaced the electrolytic capacitors attached to the LED power supply, but the results were the same. I then replaced the driver, a OB3365RP, and did it twice due to the same result.... -
by cheebsterHello, got an iPad Pro A2378 12.9 5th gen with no backlight. Got another test unit without screen, tested the screen, still no backlight with the test unit.
Figured out the backlight on the screen was bad, ordred a new backlight from mobilesentrix, *carefully replaced it* without damaging the lcd, oh well.
Final result, issue is still there, the screen has no back lights. So i'm back to square one, with 3 hours less and 100$ out, issue still on the screen.
The panel is still ok, i can see the apple in the middle of the screen when it kicks in, just no backlight.
Anyone... -
by CornitoHello team,
I'm back with another topic.
It's a 65C715 TCL tv with backlight issue.
But the problem is a bit strange.
When I took this tv from the marketplace backlight didn't work but picture was ok.
Back at home I checked with led tester if led are alive and I can find something different in term of voltage supply => nothing
Putting all back together the tv worked fine for weeks. => Contact issue??
Few moment later the tv has started to have backlight issue back, turning off and on worked sometimes and tv was working.... -
