    LC-60LE810UN Sharp

Hey guys i was given this tv from a family member and was hoping to get it to work. I was getting a error code of 1 long 1 short. After doing research it said Lamp error. So i decided to take it apart removed the panel and test the LEDs. I found one strip of leds that are bad. So i ordered the strip and installed it today. Tested it and tested the old ones AGAIN as well, and everything seemed to be good. Put it all back together again turned it on and still getting the same error code. I tried reseting the TV by holding input and vol - on panel it self and nothing. Still same error message. What i dont know is this tv is the quantron sharp and the buttons light up white when in working state. Its a touch screen buttons not physical buttons. Could that be the reason its not allowing me to reset it? Or if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it.

How did you test leds? Have you tried powering it on with panel off to see if they all work

LED tester. I can test indivial LEDs or the whole strip. No i have not tried that. I assumed that testing the LED strips it would show me if one was bad or good. Thats how i found the one strip bad.

That's what I use. Testing individually is the least accurate. I like to test from the connector off the powerboard. That way you are checking for bad connections in whole circuits. That doesn't guarantee they will work under actual load from tv. So it is still possible to have bad leds

To go any farther will Need good clear straight on pictures of back of tv with cover off and each board.

Need voltages from connector that goes from power supply board to main board. Will need pin#- PIN DESCRIPTION -Pin voltage in standby-Pin voltage when pushing power button and picture of connector on power supply board.
          Format:
Pin# - Pin Description - Pin Voltage standby - Pin voltage power on
          1 - XXXXXXX - XXv - XXXv
          2 - XXXXXXX - XXXv - XXXv
          3 - XXXXXXX - XXXv - XXXv
          4 - etc.
          Picture of led connector

First of all this is a very tricky television and it's got a lot of quirks. I repaired two of these. One that I repaired 3 years ago and still up on the wall at my mother-in-law's house working perfect. The LED that goes out is always the top right-hand corner on the right side LED strip. These buttons don't like to make good contact with your fingers because they're touch sensitive and quirky at best.

Now if you unplug the TV without clearing the lamp error code as soon as you plug it back in it will illuminate the 1-1 error again. What I do is I use the palm of my hand and rub the crossed all the buttons to make sure it gets super warm. Then hold down the volume down and input while you're plugging it in as soon as the inverted V comes up solid, release both buttons. This should bring up astatic White Noise screen with the service menu. Then you arrow down to the lamp code fault in clear the error that way.

I should note that it takes multiple tries but eventually you will get into the menu. This cannot be achieved unless you're holding these buttons down while plugging in the TV at the same time
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Hey guys sorry i was out of town hadnt had a chance to mess with tv till now. So i finally got the tv to turn on. Thank you so much guys for the info to reset the lamp code. But now i am having this issue with the tv. I am getting verticle color lines on half the screen. It stops directly in the middle of the screen. I tried taking the best picture possible. Sorry about the movie i got the first one i could find. 😁. After doing some research people saying its possible it can be a TCON?

Try cleaning and reseating all the Tccon ribbon cables.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

+1 since you had panel and t-con ribbon cables off may not have got them reseated just right.
