70c7500u
Hi guys,
I have a sharp LC-70C7500U which was giving me 2 slow blinks and 5 fast blinks . I have disconnected the tcon cables and when I disconnect the right side the tv comes on with one side working and the other side just a white screen. Do you think it's a bad panel or can it be the tcon ? Thank you ..Last edited by Samantha143; 10-26-2017, 12:36 PM.

Re: Board capacitors
So you wouldn't recommend removing them from the old board even if they are the same ??

Board capacitors
Hey guys this might be a stupid question but I want to know if it's even possible before attempting... I have two exact tv boards they both are not working. One has two bad popped capacitors and I don't know what's wrong with the other one. My question is can I cut at the curve ( see pictures) the two capacitors that are good on one board and cut out the ones that are bad leaving the two legs and Solder it to make them "like new" capacitors. I know it might sound confusing it's just if I remove the soldered legs won't be long enough so I am trying I use the good capacitors into the old...Last edited by Samantha143; 07-09-2017, 05:43 PM.

Re: Sharp LC-70LE745U
Also here are some pictures with voltages that I got from the wiring and to the leds themselves. Also a picture of how the wiring splits. But when I measure the wiring coming from the PS I get 83 from all positives....

Re: Sharp LC-70LE745U
You said pin 21 maybe bl_on and it weird that it starts at 3.2V and drops to .6V on its own

BL-ON? Do you mean the little light on the main board ? If so yes it lights up....

Re: Sharp LC-70LE745U
OK here is an update. I tested each LED individually and they were giving me 2.8 volts each. Tested the strips with the LED tester and it read 92.1 volts to power on. I measured the volts coming out of the power both PB the old and new and they both are giving me 83 volts.

Re: Sharp LC-70LE745U
We have the led removed from the back to the front with the boards connected and the logo still turns on the same way but the LED do not light up at all not even a quick flash. We even tested the LED cable that connects to the power board and it works.

Sharp LC-70LE745U
Hi guys I am breaking my head here and not sure what to do next.
We have a sharp LC-70LE745U that was originally giving us a blinking error code 2 long 3 short and it pointed to be a main board error. We replaced the main board and the error code went away and he front logo turns on regular. Now we have no backlight. We did the flashlight test and there is a faint image. We opened it up and tested each LED strip and they all turn on , we replaced the power board and it does the same thing. Not sure what else to do, any ideas ? Maybe a reset ? Not sure

Re: LC-60LE810UN Sharp
Hey guys sorry i was out of town hadnt had a chance to mess with tv till now. So i finally got the tv to turn on. Thank you so much guys for the info to reset the lamp code. But now i am having this issue with the tv. I am getting verticle color lines on half the screen. It stops directly in the middle of the screen. I tried taking the best picture possible. Sorry about the movie i got the first one i could find. 😁. After doing some research people saying its possible it can be a TCON?...

Re: LC-60LE810UN Sharp
LED tester. I can test indivial LEDs or the whole strip. No i have not tried that. I assumed that testing the LED strips it would show me if one was bad or good. Thats how i found the one strip bad.

LC-60LE810UN Sharp
Hey guys i was given this tv from a family member and was hoping to get it to work. I was getting a error code of 1 long 1 short. After doing research it said Lamp error. So i decided to take it apart removed the panel and test the LEDs. I found one strip of leds that are bad. So i ordered the strip and installed it today. Tested it and tested the old ones AGAIN as well, and everything seemed to be good. Put it all back together again turned it on and still getting the same error code. I tried reseting the TV by holding input and vol - on panel it self and nothing. Still same error message. What...
