Hi guys
Could anyone recommend me where to start looking for this fault?
The Samsung has what I can only describe as a streaky picture - see photos
There is some vertical banding type patterning which is a bit hard to describe and doesn't photo to clearly.
Also menu items leave a ghost image when the menu is removed - it looks a bit like screen burn but the menu isn't there long enough to cause that and after a little while it fades, or if I display another menu it creates a ghost of that image instead. Haven't tried a video source yet but there is obviously something wrong - also the screen background level is varying up and down on it's own so the blacks sometimes look grey, like the brightness turned up too high and the contrast turned too low on a CRT TV.... and there is a background flicker as well
I hope these photos show what I mean - for example you can see a ghost of the 'slider' menu graphics when I change the menu to another page, but then after displaying a different page the ghost image changes to whatever was displayed most recently.
