Hello

i have this tv stuck in standby would anyone have the firmware or know where i could get a eeprom from
im sure its a firmware fault
board number TP.MSD309.BP710

what panel number does the set use? have you tried ohms supplies?

Freeze epprom see if power up if so factory reset and download fw off umc site and update.

Hi vince the panel number is V400HJ6-PE1 the only eeprom i can find is for the TECHNIKA 40" 40F22B-FHD-DVD but the board is different using TP.MS6308.PB710 so unsure if this will work ?
plus there is this eeprom on OHM but again for a different model of technika http://www.ohmsupplies.co.uk/epages/...roducts/E2P200

reece even if i freeze the eeprom i cant find the firmware anywhere including UMC

if you freeze the eeprom does the set start ok? if so what about freezing it then reading it then re writing to a new eeprom

not sure then if its a eeprom problem or not maybe reece will have a idea is a replacement mainboard a resonable price? if available

Might be a regulator issue Ive had the very small 1F type fail on these start testing them first bud.

On further checking I have noticed a short in m7 smd diode maybe this is what's causing the fault

it maybe hard but any parts that read short in circuit i remove and retset the part

Correct you are Vince removed from circuit all good back to the drawing board
Got a message from ohm supplies today though :
We can reprogram the eeprom from the one fitted in the set but we don't have a firware upgrade for this set.

Update:
Ended up trying this board and all working again
TP.MSD309.BP710 MAIN BOARD.
from a bush 40/233f led tv

Recently had this tv for repair
Tv turns on fine but no backlights tested with my backlight tester and backlight was fine,so changed eeprom
And now up and testing at the moment
This may help someone in the future
