This Plasma TV loses its menu settings whenever it is unplugged for half an hour or more. TV goes back to initial setting from factory, asking to choose language, country etc. It does this every time the TV is unplug for several minutes even after I go through the process of initial setup. I attach a photo of the mainboard. Any suggestions?

Not retaining settings. For some reason IC1702 comes to mind. But have no idea honestly just a quick guess. I'll let the more knowledgable folks chime in on this one.
I will say probability is high considering winbond is flash memory nand tech. -

It looks like the user adjustable settings are stored in IC601. Is that correct? This set has several eeproms IC103, IC601, IC802Attached FilesComment

by vf faHi, so i guess I´ll have to make a new topic here, as i browsed through hundreds of other threads but couldn't find a solution to my problem yet.
I got a EIZO CX270 from a friend. He said it doesn't work anymore and wont display any signal or take any OSD inputs. Well, as an aspiring photographer I couldn't say no, could I? Thought it was an easy game, replace a bad cap and have a working monitor. But nooope, it wasn't supposed to be this easy.
So let me start with the problem description. I'll try my best not to skip anything so this might get rather long.

by i440bxHey there,
I got a HP Elitebook 820 G3 Engineering Sample Laptop and I want to use it. Besides the difficult things at the ES-BIOS I have a big problem by saving the main BIOS settings.
The laptop does not have a big battery because it was dead, but I already plugged in a new CMOS battery.
It takes about 5min without power and the BIOS settings are lost. Unfortunatly I dont understand why the BIOS settings are only saved with power connected and this is the reason why I registered here.
As written above, I plugged in a new CMOS cell and checked...3 Photos -
by Retro140Hello,
So I was referred here when I made this poste over on AVForums: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/loc...lg-tv.3257234/
To summarize, this is a commercial TV and I can't get a menu of any kind. I know the overlay is working because when I change channel, adjust volume, turn on sleep timer I do see text. But I have not ever seen the user menu nor the installers menu. I've tried a bunch of remotes(more info on the AVF post) and tried every button... - Loading...
