Your first board looks like a fail. The second has good gamma chip. Not sure what is causing problem with second board. If you feel brave you can swap chips which should fix problem. If you have never done it can easily destroy board. I know I have destroyed a few now.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Yes, that would be my last and cheaper option before shelling out money to buy a used but expensive board.

EDIT: no datsheet, but i too have bad news for you... 3 things let me understand that is a programmed chip, 1 the paint, 2 it has too few pins, 3 i see 2 testpoints called SDA, SCL and since it has a i2c communication is a programmed chip. So the only chances is to: grab the chip from the other board (ooh.. now it comes that you are right... :-), buy a new (used or not used board)...
I can't thank members of this forum enough expecially Davi.p and dskall for taking your precious time to help me. I think I have some low melt desolder wire and will attempt to remove the gamma chips and exchange them.

You can probably dump the firmware of the good chip with an RT809F and flash it onto a new one. However an RT809F is more than $40 so if you don't have it or need it, don't bother.

In order to swap those chip, you'll need a hot air gun, some flux, leaded solder and solder wick. Do not try anything if you do not have this equipment, you'll destroy the board.
If you have the equipment but never tried to solder/desolder QFN, try on a scrap board first.
It is very easy to rip the pad off of the board.

Just want to update with you guys regarding my problem. I also want to expression my deepest appreciation with all the help you all have given.

It took me awhile due to purchasing some items from China. I have always wanted a hot air station but since I don't use it often, I bought an el cheapo china made 858D from Ebay which cost me about $30 shipped. Only read some reviews on these hot air stations and they had problem with the internal wiring where the live wire was going directly to the board and not through the fuse and the metal part of the blower was not properly grounded. A little swapping wires and soldering fixed the problem and made safer. I then practiced removing some transistors from a bad computer video card after watching a bunch of youtube videos on how to remove smd. One mistake I made initially was I used the smallest nozzle which was about 4mm in diameter and it took quite a long time to remove one transistor. Then I decided to try the medium nozzle which measures about 8mm and it was perfect. I warmed up the board holding the nozzle arout 3-4 inches from the board for about a minute then move closer in a circular motion to about an inch or so and was able to remove the transistor within a minute or so. I was very excited. Then it was a matter of waiting for solder paste to come which just arrived today.

As you can see, I had some bridging initially with the soldering paste but using a soldering iron quickly fix the problem. As a result, it works as you can see. I realize that my soldering skills need improvements still but I think it did the job.

Again, thanks guys for helping me getting my Samsung alive again.

Nice job. I blew a resistor off on my try and had to get another board. I should have done a lot more practicing before attempting the real thing. It's harder than it looks. Glad you got a working tv. Now you need another so you can get your money out of hot air station.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
                      by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

Samsung UN55H8000AF - No Picture, Working Backlight, Replaced T-Con Board
                      by ermals
                      Hi all!
I've recently run into an issue with my Samsung UN55H8000AF LED TV displaying no image. I've done quite a bit of research in terms of what could be wrong with it. Below are the steps I've taken prior to reaching out here for some assistance:

                      1. I've tried replacing the T-Con board (BN95-01594A), twice and have still experienced the same issue with all the boards I've tested with.
                      2. I've tried to remove one side of the ribbon cable that goes from the T-Con board to the panel and still not getting any image on left or right side.
                      3. I've checked voltages...
