Sanyo FVD48P4 - Decaying LED driver voltage, No Backlight Flashes Once

I have a Sanyo FVD48P4 with good audio and an LED backlight that just flashes once.

*** LED driver voltage with and without load starts at ~60v and decays to 0.***

I checked each indiviudal LED with 3.3v and found 5 open or shorted LED's.

I got 3 replacement zener diodes from a TV repairshop, and replaced 3 bad LED's. I replaced the other two bad LED's with 5mm 35000mcd LED's I had from eBay as a trial, because i had no other zeners.

The TV shop checked all capacitors and verified good capacitance.

    Same issue

I have looked everywhere on the All-in-one motherboard for any type of LED inverter fuse of any type and cannot see one......I have looked hard online for a service manual for this board, with no luck.....

Any help anyone could provide be greatly appreciated......

    Thank You!!

So you found both bad LEDs and Zener diodes or did you replace bad LEDs with zener diodes??

What is the current rating of the 5mm sub LEDs?
Did you put the Zener diodes in the reverse bias position?
          3.3V 1W Zener?

no i didnt put them reverse bias! thank you! i put the stripe to the negative where the LED would go! So reverse them?

as for the substitute LED's , i checked on ebay where i got them and apparently theyre 20mA

Ar 20mA rating it will burnt so fast, the LEDs in the TV are rated at 1W with about 300~400mA rating.
If you put ZENER in forward bias mode the Vf will be only 0.6~0.7V range.

thank you very much budm, i will reverse them

further, i will get more zeners tomorrow and use them instead of these LED's

BUT, should my voltage be decaying like that? shouldnt it be holding? I'm measuring with the LED's connected and again with them disconnected and its the same.....starts at around 60v and slowly drops to 0

It sounds like it detected fault so it goes into shutdown mode.

Hello, this is my first post and im just a beginner, so be easy on me guy. thanks

i have a LED chandeilier that switches colors from white to cool white to warm when toggling the switch, it has 24 LED arms, each arm is 30 CM length.

i have no datasheet at all for the LED lights, all i have is its length.

long story short, testing the chandelier on the ground, and it works fine for 1 - 2 - 6 hours, no problem.

as soon as i fix the chandelier to the ceiling and bury the driver inside the hub,...

LG 39ln540v - red light flashes twice, no power to LED driver?
                    by russpall
                    Hi there,

I've got a 39" LG 39LN540V that's just spontaneously stopped working! The symptoms are - when I plug it in, the red light will flash on twice, then go out, there's no visible picture, and I couldn't see anything using a torch on the panel either. If I press the power button (either remote or on TV), the red light comes on continuously. If I press power again, the red light flashes twice.

The TV is using a power board EAX64905301. I've attached a diagram of the power output, I've tested the voltages with a multimeter and I'm getting the following:
                    ...

Vizio E55-F1 dark backlight zones. LED failure or Dimming Zone Driver?
                    by howardc64
                    Problem

Fixing a dimming zone TV with LEDs not lighting up. Dimming zone circuit introduces added variable to diagnose LED and/or Dimming Zone Driver board? Some 1/2 rows of LEDs appears to be out in active dimming zone off AND some brightness flickering with active dimming zone high while playing changing video

                    Model & Board Pics

                    Conflicting Spec

Vizio indicate this TV has 10 dimming zones. However, LED strips and Zoned light driver connector suggest 12

Need Audio Driver for Thomson P14C4BK128 (Windows 10/11)

                    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for help finding the correct audio driver for my Thomson P14C4BK128 laptop.
The sound is not working properly, and I believe the audio driver is missing or not installed correctly.

                    Here are the details:
                    • Model: Thomson P14C4BK128
                    • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

If anyone has a working link to the driver or knows where I can download it, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

how to install gl usb2.0 uvc camera device driver on windows 10
                    by bohaboha
Hello all am trying to reinstall my AMCAP Microscope on windows 10 but it is not working anymore. But the cam and the drivers are present in the Device Manager but there it saysWindows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) the drivers is : gl usb2.0 uvc camera device driver and i also get this mesage: Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error.
but it is quite strange because it did work on this same OS for one week ago and even for sometimes ago on that same but now nix.
                    any help?
