you should be able to get the safe mode menu with F6 as it boots - that may give you the version.
it's not down to the subversion, just 7,8,9,10,11 and if it's 32bit or 64bit.
you can find DaRT images on torrent sites.

I am surprised that they left the hard drive in those computers most companies remove them and destroy them hum interesting that they did not do this very lack on security on patient information remind not go to there practice for anything

I once bought some used hard drives that were not formatted and I was surprised by this as well but the only thing that saved them is that these files were very old but still this is not a very good practice to be this lack in security I personally formulated them before I reused them

Thank you a lot of interesting reading. I don't dare to just go in and erase the hard disk because in the BIOS all passwords are clear but when I start i get the login for windows so maybe as you said there is something hidden somewhere. There is a possibility that I can contact the dentist who used this computer and ask him to hand over the passwords or maybe even let him delete everything himself if he answers my message, I know his name and his location just a try.
otherwise I'll try to follow the link and fix a DaRT it will be useful.
                  Thank you very much

try swapping in a different drive/ssd and see if it runs o.k.

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
                      by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...

ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING - M.2_2 port not working correctly with SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD
                      by DynaxSC
                      Hi,

I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.

Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.

The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:
                      • The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
                      • POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket
                      ...

DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error re. old drivers in Windows 11 install image
                      by japlytic
In a Beelink GTR mini PC, mine has an Intel AX200NGW WLAN module.

                      Tried (only with keyboard/mouse connected):
                      • BIOS + database update
                      • Using latest Windows 11 image built with official image creation tool
                      • Previous setup version for Windows 11 installer
                      • Replacing SSD without a slow block (the previous SSD had a slow block with access time > 500 mS)
                      • TPM reset (worked to the point where DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error message is displayed briefly after the point of stalling)
                      • Disabling power to WLAN and LAN modules in BIOS (Advanced > AMD PBS > PCI Express Configuration)
                      ...

Topcat's Supermicro X10DAI Build - Plus NVMe BIOS Mod Inside
                      by Topcat
Yes, I know I don't post this stuff much anymore....the only reason I'm posting this one is because of a NVMe adapter incompatibility; seems rather planned by Supermicro.....or I'm atleast a bit suspicious. It's plenty new enough to have a UEFI bios but a short 'happy list' of NVMe controllers that will work with this board, as if by some 'miracle', all Intel....so lets start at the beginning; we'll get back to this later.

Of course the motherboard is as the thread title states; X10dai....but we'lre going to have some fun shoehorning this into a modern 'gamer case' that can actually...
