how to install gl usb2.0 uvc camera device driver on windows 10

Hello all am trying to reinstall my AMCAP Microscope on windows 10 but it is not working anymore. But the cam and the drivers are present in the Device Manager but there it saysWindows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) the drivers is : gl usb2.0 uvc camera device driver and i also get this mesage: Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error.
but it is quite strange because it did work on this same OS for one week ago and even for sometimes ago on that same but now nix.
    any help?

Try deleting the device and without the device hooked up then restart the computer and see if the device shows up again if not then restart the computer again and then hook up the device again and reload the drivers again and see if this fixes the issue if not then try using on an earlier version of windows sometimes this works and sometimes it does not work

If dose not work then remove the software for the device and the drivers and repeat the same process again and see if this works or not

Option two is if you have another computer and have windows 7 try using it on this operating system and see if function correctly on this version

I personally do not like any operating system past windows 7 ( one note I do not have these computers hooked to the internet because I do not want updates to the operating system because you take a chance that it might update you to windows 10 ) in fact for my battery testing machines I only use windows 7 these can be ran on windows 11 but I have some applications that do not run very stable on windows 10 or windows 11 even though they claim it can run on these operating systems

In fact if I had a computer that could run windows XP I would use it for my battery testing machines but I do not have a computer from that era that works stable enough to trust it for my battery testing machines but this is a project that is in the back burner to one day bring back a couple of computers that I have from this era in time and bring them back to life again

in hardware manager make sure you see the device with a valid VID/PID number.
            or try a Linux livedisk

it's called a live because it boots from a dvd or usb-stick into ram - it doesnt install on or touch the harddrive.
                here's one
                https://download.opensuse.org/tumble...64-Current.iso
                it's a 1gig download
and another that is more complete but 3.9gig
                https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/w...-amd64-kde.iso

interesting,if the laptop is blacklisting a usb camera then it's a mistake or a whole new level of low,
they usually only pull that shit with internal wifi cards.

                            whats the linux question?

Ok I've found 6 Laptop in my eco-cabin where i use to pick power supply and Main bords from thrown TV i use to sell on E-bay . it is from a defunct company or maybe they switched to new laptop in their business
and on one of them there was a note that turned out to be the password for most of them except one an I7 Lenovo Yoga the password did not match . the other are I5 and the one in the thread is one of them .Now I'm trying to solve the password with Hiren's Boot Cd but I'm stuck with a problem into hiren's PE WIn 11 Desk that you might be able to help me with

                                    wipe the drive.
and hope there isnt an app installed in the UEFI bios partition
you should wipe all the drives anyway, it's not uncommon for large companies to put tracking and spyware in their machines to keep an eye on the employee's

incidentally, the way to break into windows is with the micro$oft tool "DaRT"
you need the one that matches the windows version.
but as i said, use a Linux boot image to erase all the drive partitions and start clean.

is it possible to fix it with UBCD disk`? quite old tool but many good ones in it .
since i can get in with hirens i ll be able to know the windows version and then choose the right "DaRt" tool . the last option Linux boot image
