    Vizio m420sv tpa3110ld2

Have Vizio M420sv that had no audio and 4 bad caps. Little freeze on tpa3110Ld2 and audio returned . Replaced 4 caps but didn't have a tpa3110Ld2 to replace audio ic. I tried in vain to find datasheet for tpa3110Ld2. Could only find tpa3110d2. I replaced the tpa3110Ld2 with a new tpa3110d2 and the audio works fine. MY question is what is the difference between the ld2 and the d2 chip. Also would you just leave the tpa3110d2 in the TV or replace it back to a tpa3110Ld2 when it gets here from china. The tv has 4 ohm speakers. The only info i found is that the tpa3110Ld2 was a 10 watt and the tpa3110d2 is a 15 watt audio out.

    Thanks for any info

The TPA3110D2 is a 15-W (per channel) and TPA3110LD2 is A 10W+10W amp, Or sub with TPA3113 6w +6w. They are pin to pin compatible.

Thanks Did you have the datasheet for the tpa3110Ld2? So you would just leave the tpa3110d2 and call the job done.

OK Thanks. I have seen most of the diagrams but maybe looking to deep. Thought something might have been different internally to the SD and fault pins. Vizio does not have a good service manual so will just go with what i have. Looked at everything on TI and nothing but tpa3110d2.

Thanks for taking time for my question.

The TV is loud. Have to put on 35 or 40 out of 100 scale. I am also hard of hearing. Got a few tpa3110Ld2 coming from China (slow boat ). May just try to recoup money on ebay for chips. Got tpa3110d2 from Mouser. Have a lot of parts pulled from boards and bag and number them in little notepad database. Then click find and i know right where part is.

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player

The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

                  by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                  Assuming...

Hello, everyone. A neighbor was throwing this TV away for "not turning on" so I asked for it and they gave it to me for free since Vizio gave them a new TV under warranty.

I'm pretty proficient with electronics in general but this is the first TV I've ever tried to fix. I strongly suspect bad LED lights but figured I'd post some info and see if those of you more experienced with TVs can confirm my suspicion before I move forward. Some photos and measurements below:

The power supply only has two outputs, one output cable going to the main board and the other...

                  by i_am_patch
Hi All. I had a Roland KR-3500 Digital Piano (similar to the KR-4500) that exhibited a Crackling audio sound on all keys. After reading somewhere about someone with a similar issue who had replaced all the Electrolytic caps I decided to also go down that route. (Spoiler : It worked !) After some basic troubleshooting I determined that it could be noise feeding thru from the Keyboard scanning since the Demo tunes played back undistorted and the Audio amp / speakers were fine ( Inserted an Audio signal into the rear Audio input). After extracting the main board from the shield, I replaced 7 Capacitors...

                  Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...
