    The 3M conductive adhesive 9703 is doubleback tape that has conductive strips going one way. It is not paint

    The repair you are trying to do is very tough. I also have microscope to do repairs. I have seen damage to jumpers from water that cannot be repaired because the jumper got burnt. Sometimes when the jumper is in good shape you can use:
    3M conductive adhesive 970312

    I bought some a few years back on ebay. It is a doubleback tape that has little conductive strains in one direction only (everything in the intrack direction).
    It is expensive so the guy sells it in smaller pieces.

  • Re: Vizio m420sv tpa3110ld2

    The TV is loud. Have to put on 35 or 40 out of 100 scale. I am also hard of hearing. Got a few tpa3110Ld2 coming from China (slow boat ). May just try to recoup money on ebay for chips. Got tpa3110d2 from Mouser. Have a lot of parts pulled from boards and bag and number them in little notepad database. Then click find and i know right where part is.

    OK Thanks. I have seen most of the diagrams but maybe looking to deep. Thought something might have been different internally to the SD and fault pins. Vizio does not have a good service manual so will just go with what i have. Looked at everything on TI and nothing but tpa3110d2.

    Thanks for taking time for my question.

    Thanks Did you have the datasheet for the tpa3110Ld2? So you would just leave the tpa3110d2 and call the job done.

  • Vizio m420sv tpa3110ld2

    Have Vizio M420sv that had no audio and 4 bad caps. Little freeze on tpa3110Ld2 and audio returned . Replaced 4 caps but didn't have a tpa3110Ld2 to replace audio ic. I tried in vain to find datasheet for tpa3110Ld2. Could only find tpa3110d2. I replaced the tpa3110Ld2 with a new tpa3110d2 and the audio works fine. MY question is what is the difference between the ld2 and the d2 chip. Also would you just leave the tpa3110d2 in the TV or replace it back to a tpa3110Ld2 when it gets here from china. The tv has 4 ohm speakers. The only info i found is that the tpa3110Ld2 was a 10 watt and the tpa3110d2...

    pulled caps around N4 c311,c48,c46 are 10uf low esr c50 and c47 are .1uf c18 is 4.6uf low esr R28=110 ohms r29=180 ohms r79=4.7k r80=4.6k

    TV is still working fine except n4 heat The STB is 3.7v so with no schematic don't know if that is correct.

  • Re: HISENSE F42K20E 158308 not turning on

    Thanks for the reply. TV is still going. Temp. on regulator is around 120f. Maybe a little hotter closer to the 3.3v output on board. I have seen a few other boards with the same discoloration on N4 . I think Bud is right that something is drawing too much current. Maybe if someone has one of these tv's they could let me know how Hot N4 is getting on their TV and if they sense it has overheated.

  • HISENSE F42K20E 158308 not turning on

    Hi,
    Just finished repairing a Hisense f42k203. It is the 150308 and E120111.
    Checked P/s voltages with only red led on {would not turn blue}
    XP902 connector
    stb = 3.7v
    5v = 5v
    12v = 12v
    PWM= 0v
    sw = 0v
    18v = 18v

    xp902 had 131v on +1 pin

    Tried EEPROM but that did not work

    While looking for another main board noticed the N4 regulator was very discolored. Checked it out AZ1080D and replaced it with UZ1080L and TV fired up perfect. Also put the original EEPROM back in and it worked perfect....

    Here is a little recap of this repair. Won't tell how much i spent on parts. TV is working fine so thanks to TW and Flocko.

  • Re: Panasonic TC-P50C2 7 blinks

    Hi TW. I check them with my dca55 checker. At 1st i thought they were IGBT's and my tester doesn't test IGBT's. Then realized the K in RJK means FET. I also tested them in diode mode. I can charge them up with diode mode to the gate and and back to the drain and it is on. Touch gate with finger and it turns off. Only problem is when it is on it will read .4800 instead of .0000 source to drain. Turn it off and reverse probes source to drain and it will read .3900 . Only the ones from Shopjimmy read this way. Got 2 new ones coming tomorrow and let...

    One other thing with this SS board. I bought the repair kit from Shopjimmy. My original 2 RJK2017 fets tested fine (used atlas dca55) but wanted to replace them anyway. Tested the 2 RJK2017 fets in the kit and they failed. Shopjimmy sent me a new kit free of charge. Tested the 2 RJK2017 fets and 1 of them said it was a n-ch fet. Told Shopjimmy again and they said they would check with their tech. They never got back to me. In the meantime i ordered RJK2017 from utsource but orderewd t0-220 instesd of surface mount. I tested them and they tested perfect....

  • Re: Panasonic TC-P50C2 7 blinks

    Thanks TW. Pulled the SS board today and started checking q161 back to ic131 pin 1. Found that when i took q161 out to check out of cct i must have moved R161 the 10 ohm resister. I replaced the r161 and for good measure replaced q141 and 161. TV came on with good picture. Will post wrapup later.

    OK Got the SC up and running. Tested with P50 and ran clean. Put everything back together and the picture and sound come on but same as in the earlier post pictures. Snowy maldischarge. Flocko said he had same problem but don't know what he replaced. All my voltages are the same as before

    Vsus 190.8

    Led is on Green

    TPVAD -190.8

    TPVSCN -43.8

  • Re: Panasonic TC-P50C2 7 blinks

    After a little more surfing i found the 5mm IC Datasheet for c541 buffer. It is called a VSSOP20-P-0030-0.50. Made by Toshiba p/n TC74vhct541afk. I found Panasonic parts at Sears direct. The C0JBAU000088 is $3.99 + shipping. Don't understand the p/n in the threads about PAVCTH C541. Can someone explain what i am missing. I hit the PAVCTH for Panasonic on Facebook and ended up with girls from Thiland in my Facebook.
    My Q621 won't be here till next week so will post back what happens with the SC board.

  • Re: Panasonic TC-P50C2 7 blinks

    Back again but don't have all parts to fire it up again. Waiting on RJP3034. Can't find a datasheet anywhere for this igbt. Went on RENESAS and they have lots of information on discontinued products. I will post what happens when i get all the parts.

    One thing i am having trouble with is the IC561 & ic562. Mine are 5mm in length. Every tssop-20 i find is 6.5mm. So question is where do i find a VHCT541A in a 20 pin 5mm length.

  • Re: Panasonic TC-P50C2 7 blinks

    Day started out OK. Read TW post and reseated the buffer jumpers. Took a little work and used a litle Deoxit on them. Got all the black lines cleared up. That was great and thanks TW. Still had the snowy dim picture. This is the bad part. Before i even got to take pictures i thought i would take some reading on the SS board. I was on Q102 and POP!!! My probe went source to drain. Now back to 10 blinks again. Didn't find any shorts on SS but SC shorted Q441,Q661,Q401,Q402,Q421 and Q422. So how have to order more parts from UTsource so on hold for a...
