Macbook M3 A2991 Speaker Audio Amplifier IC

Im working on a 2023 Macbook Pro M3 A2991, that had a liquid spill, has no sound. Corrosion found near Speaker Audio Amp IC. Chip ID SN012776B0,
I did find a SN012776B0 on A2442 model, but the sub and replaced it, no go. Anyone know if these audio amp IC's are cross compatible between 2021-2023 models?

I would confirm with the vendor on how you plan to use the device before ordering. From our experience on other macbook audio repairs, the audio amplifiers appear to have unique I2C bus addresses. Also be sure to PRAM reset whenever you disconnect the battery. Otherwise, you will not hear the boot chime.

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
      by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...

MacBook A2179 Audio board+Power button boardview & schematic needed
      by Darren Hibbert
      Hi.

Long shot but does anyone have a schematic & boardview for the audio board+power button on a Macbook A2179?

There is a shorted cap on mine and I need to know if I can safely remove it or whether I need to replace it and with what capacitor.

      Many thanks. ...

MacBook Air 2337 - Right I/O Board Audio IC - Alternative Replacement?
      by grimacelord
      Hello,

I'm working on a MacBook Air A2337 that had liquid damage on the right I/O board. I ultrasonic cleaned the board and it all functions except the computer has no audio. I tried reballing the audio IC which is TAS5770AC0, but that did not restore audio. I could just replace the entire board, but I wanted to see if replacing the audio IC would fix it first. Mouser has a similar audio IC in stock which is TAS5770LC0YFFR, but I wasn't sure if it is compatible. I was just wondering if anyone knew if I could use the one from mouser as an acceptable replacement or if I need to purchase...

      Apple MacBook A1707 No Audio/Sound
      by tommy97
      Hi,

I'm having an issue with an A1707 MacBook Pro—there's no audio output. Initially, the MacBook came in with a no-power problem, and I found a faulty U6400, which I've now replaced. The laptop now powers on, but there's still no sound.

I've also replaced U6300, but the problem persists.

Here are the current voltage readings:
      • PPV18_S0: 1.8V
      • R6402: 1V
      • R6405: 1V
      • R6403: 1V
      • AUD_SPKRAMP_RESET_L: 1.3V
      • PPBUS: 12.6V

Nikkai EAPA 450 car amplifier rear speaker output is a low level and distorts easily
      by waigy
      As the title.
I think these used to be sold in maplins a lot of years ago, it is an antique, but it's just fine for my needs.
It looks basic enough inside with large components so I could do a full recap pretty easily.
Any suggestions on what component would cause the symptoms of low volume output on both left and right rear speaker outputs?
If I turn up the rear gain level in the amp until the speakers start to distort it starts to distort quickly even though the speakers are still pretty quiet.
I thought I had dodgy speakers as I just fitted new old stock 6x9s in...
