In my case I know the P and SC boards are good because I have had them running in another set. Also with D5/A31 disconnected it is turning on with full white screen. As soon as D5/A31 reconnected I get 10 blinks.

doing my head in. you may have a double fault, does happen and I have had a bad SC damage the A board to have 10 blinks but the D is in between both.

If this was the regular 2D I 'd be more sure. Try that 10 blink steps with the multimeter and let us know.
Unfortunately I'll be getting some ZZZZZZs shortly, been a big day.

    Does this suggest power board
Would suggest SC2 is shorted but why 10 blinks? did you disconnect SC20 ribbon and SC2 power?

well I'm getting rusty and lazy. Just spent all day trying to get a damn broken glow plug out of an i30.

Being a 3D model, it's not one I'm exactly ace on either. 10 blink SC board pops to mind but not if it's doing it isolated. Pretty sure there's a test you can do isolating the A board, TV turns on with either a dim screen or white screen.

If you can get it to do that Then A board would be high on th elist.

It's possible to have the “Panel Drive Section” running with the “Signal Processing Section” (A board)
    disconnected.
By separating the 2 sections, it could be determined if the symptom on the TV is created by the A
board or one of the boards on the Panel Drive Section.
Note: Disconnecting D3/A32 and D5/A31 allows the TV to turn on by itself with a white screen after
it is plugged in to the AC line. This procedure does not disable the A board.
To completely disable the A board:
    1. Unplug the TV.
    2. Remove connectors P6 and P7 from the power supply. (See note on previous slide.)
    3. Plug in the TV (Do not press the power button).
    • The TV partially turns on by itself.

    2. With P6 and P7 disconnected, disconnect D5 from the from the D/A board.

    4. Now the TV turns on by itself with a white screen.

    Ok ,

Well we better not jump to any conclusions then.

Can we get an image of the back or a list of boards? Is there a D board?

Touching the probes together reads 001
Probes on middle and lower leg reads 014
Probes on middle and upper leg reads 001
Probes on upper and lower legs reads 014

Sorry mate but yuck. Good for maybe a little tinkering on a car.

stick it on diode mode , touch the probes together and note the reading then probe the legs on that Q661, have someone take photos of the reading but I'm not going to waste too much time figuring that meter out . I find they are good at confusing everyone.

It doesn't have a buzzer but it does check for continuity, the display changes across all 3 legs. Which it does if I touch the 2 probes together so I assume means that there is continuity same applies to SC2

neither do I. Sounds like a cheap meter not digital auto ranging.

What meter is it? Does it have a diode check or continuity check beeper or buzzer? Just probe two legs on that Q661 see if it beeps constantly. 0.14 ohms is a short But since you don't understand the meter fully makes it hard for me to say with confidence.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
    by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

    Hi

The TV seem to start ( blinking green) but goes into blinking red. No display and or backlight. Full view photo.

    Actions :

    1. Disconnected Panel's Right, 2nd, board : TV comes ON (steady green , no blinking red )
1a. You can see in two photos the B/W screen , fading blue "HDMI12" , and the wierd sides of the image, like an old CRT.
Obviously the fault is from or on the Right, secondary board

    2. I taped the Flex tracks, ~2 tracks at a time- see Photo. The issue seems to be on the V lines (Assuming Data...

my question is: why doesnt the board start know without this chip.... worked myself through the boardview but i can´t understand...

Panasonic tx-55cx802b stuck on panel test mode
    by gigigi
Panasonic tx-55cx802b stuck on panel test mode.
It was working normally but few days ago some of the LED reflectors fall off.
I've opened it up carefully, re-glued, while it was open switched it on to test LEDs.
    Then carefully assembled back.
After plugging in to power remote does not work.
Using power button on the TV it turns on but gets itself into a panel testing mode: white, gradient, red, gradient, blue, gradient, green and so on switching between colours.

Anyone knows how to get out of this panel testing mode?

    I've tried so...
