Was going to get one but to me it is just going to tell if it is mainboard or t-con/panel problem. Wish they had a tester that could just test the panel itself. But for the price it can eliminate the mainboard as the problem.

Small monitors but I don't think you can bypass the t-con on tv's and test just the panel.

I believe that you are correct in that it can test laptop LCD panels but TV panels through the Tcon board.
I'll be keeping an eye on it to see how it develops.
