Samsung UN40C5000 no picture or backlights

Picked up a Samsung UN40C5000.
Turns on, sound works, but no picture or backlights.

Don't see any image doing the "flashlight test" either.

Any ideas?

You need to report DCV reading of the power supply connector that goes to the main board, you must put down the pin NAMEs and follow by the DCV readings.
One of those tab bonding board on the bottom edge of the panel.

Are those corrosion on the right connector on the panel?

Good eye. I didn't notice it, but yeah, something has obviously gotten inside the tv.

I'll get the readings in a bit, but it's going to be hard because the connector has 2 sets of pins in it. I'll figure something out.

Those TVs with tab bonding boards on the bottom edge of the LCD panel get damaged a lot due to people spray liquid cleaner on the panel and then it drips down on to the Tab bonding board and cause corrosion and burnt traces, etc.

Finally had a chance to get the voltage readings.

I also measured what I believe to be the wires going to the backlights at the top of the tv, the blue and black ones coming from the power supply. I got 0V on them. Guess that explains why I have no backlights lol.
